Who won the WS? Or is that still pending a final?

Eugene is one of the bigger EJs amongst pro players that I am aware of. Will be more interesting to see how long this equipment change lasts.

How do you know he's using K3 both sides, is he sponsored by Tibhar now?
Idk any other rubber with the beige white sponge of K3, unless someone wants to enlighten me?

Interesting how two counterpunchers played each other. Kanak decided to attack first, looked strong the first two games. In game 3 Eugene started attacking early and seemed to get the upper hand for the next couple of games until Kanak clawed back from 6-10 down in game 6 and had two match points before Eugene forced game 7. That game had a few incredible points, but was decided by an uncharacteristic flurry of unforced errors by Eugene. Great match, worth the long wait.

There are plenty but I wasn't saying you are wrong but just asking. If he is using the Felix blade it would make sense to be K3/K3Pro.
Yeah but I’m pretty sure the design is alexis blade. Hard to say tho the angles aren’t great but I’m fairly certain he’s using Alexis blade, for sure a Tibhar blade.

Congrats to Kanak who fought off a very worthy opponent in Eugene Wang. Congrats to Bruna Takahashi who went into Amazon Warrior Princess mode in game 7. Lily put up a great fight despite dealing with an injured playing arm.

Fortunate to see the finals and catch a signed ball from Kanak lolol. Also realized a bunch of the players were seated right beside/by us.

I think this win gets Kanak 500 ranking points which would bump him from 45 to 26. That's a big deal as he can avoid the perilous qualifying rounds even in the star contenders. It gets much harder from here. Another 500 points would get him to 17, and 500 more to 13, and those are more difficult points against tougher competition...

Only one continental - Dr Evil was speaking generally about getting points.
That's right. I don't think top 30 players are even allowed to play feeder events, so any more points for Kanak will have to come in contender and higher events.
