Would you like if ex pros would unretire for a few games?

My favourite player of all time is Joo Sae Hyuk, other ones that i like include Liang Jinkun, Zhang Jike, Wang Liqin and xu xin.
I wish the ones that don't play anymore would come play from time to time, exhibition matches.
Joo we can only see on the side as a coach for the national team, zhang as well but even less as he is a private coach, wang liqin from my knowledge is an ambassador in sports in general so he is not as close as he used to be to the sport. At least Xu Xin still does some videos for fun from time to time.
I wish they would do a big exhibition tournament with all the legends that we had and still have in the sport. (xu xin and zhang would be the favourites to win as they are closest to being in form i guess)
Do you have retired Pros that you'd like to see play? If yes who are they?
Also the recent Waldner tournament was awesome, honestly, we need more like those.

Also off topic but do you also think liang jinkun has such big potential and he could use some more consistency?

I prefer to see seasoned pros in lower leagues, where they still have to put in some effort. For example I saw Karakasevic in Germany´s fourth league a couple of times, this weekend he won 4 matches effortlessly without dropping a single game, but there is also serious competition.

Also I saw one of your own all time greats, Vasile Florea, in our fifth league. Those are the leagues where you would also find former first league players and you can watch matches of high quality that no-one wants to lose.

If it´s exhibition only, there can be something missing. For the fun part, I´d rather watch former greats play Dan and his folks. ;-)

Waldner cup was different, with current top players in a relaxed atmosphere, under no pressure.

I prefer to consider kalinikos kreanga as one of our former best even though he is a Greek since his ~20's. He still lived his early life in romania.
About Vasile Florea, i do not recognise the name as i do not play for a long time and less likely to know him if he plays in germany.
Ex pros to be playing in lower leagues i think it is kind of insulting for them, i think they should play against other ex pros. Imagine wang liqin vs zhang jike as an ex pro or even to play against a still in good shape liang jinkun. (legendary battle)
Anyway, danke fuer der antwort!

He is back in Romania since 2014 but I do not exactly know what he´s doing these days, probably coaching somewhere.
As an 8 times World Championship player and 1 time Olympic Games participant he´s quite probably worth checking out ;-)

People don't just get together to play for the sake of entertainment, someone needs to make it happen and have a lot of cash, like the case of the Waldner Cup, or fund raising or what ever it may be.

Some former pros still play in the Veterans (Masters) and like some stated, in lower division leagues around the world, some don't. Most of them have full time jobs.

If someone has the cash to make it happen, it will happen :)
