Many people say this about blades lasting forever.
But in the for sale posts, and my own experience, bats often get dings. I use a padded edge tape so thick you can loop with it. Yet my blades typically last two or three years before the edge dings cause flakes of top ply (or plies) to break off at rubber change time. After enough wood goes it's time for a new blade. I don't do the filler or wood glue thing.
Considering I always have two or three of the same blade, that 2-3 year life is about one year of play. And I am not (any more) a bat-thrower or rough on them in that way. It's only from hitting edges or the tabletop. The top ply is incredibly thin and quite delicate.
So your viscaria should last somewhere between one year and forever.
