what phone do CNT use Tonyrumors has it that QTY and XF has been punished for the poor performance in Doha, and has been removed from taking part in Vegas
and earlier this evening, Fan Siqi handed her phone to me to say hi to SXY.... it was about 21:30 and she was still in the gym!! Working hard for Vegas
What ever they want - personal choicewhat phone do CNT use Tony
Look at the yardstick you're using to judge selection choices bruh. Gaoyuan withdrew from a couple of tournaments due to illness and his father's demise. Surely you shouldn't forget that.yet XF played in Singapore Smash
Very plausible, I remember her beating Idesawa 4-3 in the final, and the way she and Zhuojia struggled with the unconventional Japanese players at the event. Makes sense for her to be drafted to defend her title. I remember those days when Wang Yidi won the World University Games. A very rational explanation, but somehow this isn't the go-to for the people obviously. It's always something sinister. One explanation is that QTY will play in World University Games 2025, which takes place right after US Smash 2025.
ban钱天一上何卓佳是为了炸张本美和吗 (Is banning Qian Tianyi and putting He Zhuojia in to blast Harimoto Miwa?)

七月份有大学生运动会,老钱是上届四冠王要去卫冕才没报。如果真的想ban她没理由还给她报了卢布尔雅那和萨格勒布刷分

(There is World University Games in July. Old Qian didn't sign up [for US Smash 2025] because she has to defend her 4 titles from the previous edition. If they really want to ban her, there is no reason to sign her iup for [WTT SCT] Ljubljana and [WTT CT] Zagreb to earn [WR] points)
美国大满贯比赛,为什么没有我家钱天一?! (Why is my Qian Tianyi not in US Smash?)

So you are saying that China never had a policy that players would not be allowed to play in subsequent events after playing badly in a prior event? And that Tony is making this up completely?I do disapprove seeing as Xue Fei's wasn't on the list for players attending the smash as at last week when I checked. Another case of Tony saying something out of the place where the sun doesn't shine, and you swallowing it hook, line and sinker.
Wang Liqin, Wang Hao and Ma Lin would have been fooling themselves to have thought that XF or QTY would go far in the WTTC. That expectation has always been on the core players. They played in the WTTC only because they qualified, something that Tony himself wrongfully accused the team of not doing ( i.e giving chances to players outside the core) So the likelihood of punishing them for playing at their expected level is low. WCQ had a number of losses to players last year and he wasn't punished. Why will these ones be punished?Beware of spreading rumors, @Shine will disapprove, even though policies like these were once commonly expressed by the CNT.
They had this policy, and they stopped it. That is my point. So you are saying that China never had a policy that players would not be allowed to play in subsequent events after playing badly in a prior event? And that Tony is making this up completely?
So you believe the team when it says it has explicitly stopped this practice (barring the Olympics), and determine that anyone who still believes in the existence of such practices is ideologically driven to hate the team?Wang Liqin, Wang Hao and Ma Lin would have been fooling themselves to have thought that XF or QTY would go far in the WTTC. I'll rather believe the team that's explicitly mentioned how they've stopped this practice and have taken steps to be more transparent and open in their dealings, barring the Olympics where they prioritise certain things, than uncritically put much faith in the words of someone who's prone to assume the worst of certain people/groups due to his ideological stand.
Can you give an example of a match he suggested was fixed? They had this policy, and they stopped it. That is my point.
Tony brings up match fixing in the 1970s to indirectly suggest once in a while that some matches are fixed. Or that they're playing according to some coaches' diktats. Do you believe that?
Not on one, two or even three instances has he alleged that so and so player was barred from playing in a tournament because the team is some oppressive hellhole, and it turns out the Chinese delegation were put there by WTT as a placeholder because of their participation in a previous event. Several other times that he's been here with snide remarks and making a mountain out of a molehill of things related to the CNT which are not so serious and are not absent in some other "independent" MAs in Asia. I don't have a problem when he posts factual stuff of course. Sorry, but I don't think his "rumors"should be taken with anything more than a pinch of salt.So you believe the team when it says it has explicitly stopped this practice (barring the Olympics), and determine that anyone who still believes in the existence of such practices is ideologically driven to hate the team?
Unfortunately, I'm not one to save his gaffes seeing as my device may not be up to the task, and I really couldn't care less. I only make mental notes of his talking points basically. As far as I remember, one of his argument then basically was that the team had match fixing scandals in the 70s and thus they're morally bankrupt, and that should lend credence to what his "sources" in the team tell him or whatever rumors that he mongs here. No regard or quarter should be given to the evolution and the forward facing decisions/pledges that have been made in light of some of those scandals in the past. I don't think they're perfect, but I don't think he's arguing in good faith either in many cases. In that case, I guess I should have my reservations about unsubstantiated comments. Social media is incredible, because things would come to a light eventually, it just takes time. Can you give an example of a match he suggested was fixed?
Partially because he was LGL's chosen one, perhaps also because he has an established position as one of the big 3WCQ had a number of losses to players last year and he wasn't punished.
LGL would never choose WCQ over FZD. I don't buy that. Your second point is obvious. Post 2017 or so (not too sure, probably '18)after coming to terms with the fact that the team is not as dominant anymore and there are a lot more challengers, the team announced that they'd stop the custom of punishing players after losses to foreign players. I'd take them on their words.Partially because he was LGL's chosen one, perhaps also because he has an established position as one of the big 3
I've been told otherwise by former provincial players and coaches who were closely connected to those involved, but, I am sure you will call it hearsayLGL would never choose WCQ over FZD.
Yeah yeah, and I'm sure you've got a bridge in your hometown to sell to me. Sure thing bud.I've been told otherwise by former provincial players and coaches who were closely connected to those involved, but, I am sure you will call it hearsay
I mean you've not got enough ground to stand on yourself. Can't blame me.Its so funny seeing how shine is trying to stand his ground
