日本代表チームとしてやってるんだし監督もいるんだから
同国対決ではチームオーダー出せばいいのに

今回であれば
早田じゃ中国に勝てないのだから張本にQF行かせる
伊藤じゃ朱雨玲に勝てない、橋本は直近でスト勝ちなんだから橋本にSF行かせる

早田や伊藤は当然反発するだろうが『お前で勝てるのか？』で終了
何も言い返せないと思うよ

In this case
Hayata can't beat China, so let Harimoto go to the quarterfinals
Ito can't beat Zhu Yuling, and Hashimoto recently won in straight games, so let Hashimoto go to the semifinals

Chen reaching the final reminds me a bit of the 2000 US Open that I attended, when a young Wang Liqin won after his CNT teammates (Liu Guoliang, Liu Guozheng, Ma Lin, Kong Linghui) were all knocked out earlier.

早田とベンチのよっしゃーが第4ゲームマッチポイントで勝ったの如く既にはしゃぎ出したのと、敗戦し崩れ落ちて訳分からない笑顔している早田の動画切り取りされてWeiboで嘲笑の的になってんだが
(Hayata and the "Yosha" guy on the bench were already acting like they'd won at match point in the 4th game, and a clip of Hayata collapsing after losing and smiling incomprehensibly was cut and posted to Weibo, where it became the subject of ridicule)

Chen Yi I feel happy for. Tall TT players suffer enough in silence lol. Her story of overcoming rapid growth might inspire a few more.

I do want Zhu to win. Might be minor compensation for having her career hit by cancer but this would he extremely satisfying.

Because of Darko's relative success and because both Darko and Felix are Tibhar players (and Tibhar tables are slippery like Joolas), I hesitate to say confidently that Felix has leveled up. But it does look at this stage like he has in quite a few ways.
