As someone who has gone through a lifetime of having people perceive from afar and coming to interesting conclusions, I will defer to his teammates on this one. He may be arrogant, but I won't read into those kinds of things much if at all. Ma Long had one off the most arrogant looks of all time after the around the net shot against LJK lol....

well, there is some talks that WCQ didn't want to risk loosing to FZD,
if hiding to uphold winning ego, equates to that same winning ego that led to an arrogance personality (not just a look when doing around the net shot), then maybe it is linked.

end of the day, WCQ didn't play FZD from his own request of being "unwell" before the match. Where most players would just have a chocolate before going on.

WCQ was being kind, he didn't want to unleash his fangirls on FZD, that's all, no need to make this about arrogance or personality. And his team still won so clearly he was not needed.

LYJ played really well against Sora too. I like the mic placement in these matches. Feels like in WTT matches I never hear a peep from LYJ, so it's interesting to hear him curse in Chinese lol.

I have been feeling bad for Lin Shidong who gets cheered against every game. Must not be a nice feeling for the #1 ranked player not getting crowd support in his own country.
