Alamiyan gets Togami and then LYJ or LSS whereas Tanaka gets Wen Ruibo and then likely Calderano. Very difficult draws for both.

Tell that to the guy who said Faraji should not have lost to 65th ranked Cho... @joshmak10 , you listening?
Never said he couldn’t lose to Cho, but Faraji barely even put up a challenge to Cho. At least Kuo had a chance to go 2-0 up but Cho found a different level and won the match. Also, the games between Kuo and Cho were much closer than the games between Faraji and Cho. If Benyamin really was a top prodigy, he really should be at least taking senior players close, and ofc like Tony keeps telling you, he can’t even beat many junior players he listed and plays about 50 million junior events unlike Kuo, Felix, Hari, who mostly went straight to seniors only at Faraji age.

Let's go Annett, i was waiting for her to get something going, which is hard without being more active at smaller events. Very convincing qualifying run, now even the main draw position is as good as she could've hoped for.

Yes, Li Yu-Jhun and Diya Chitale (India National Champion) are very nice wins for her. A 2nd round meeting between two heavy hitters, Annett and Miyu Nagasaki, would be interesting. Miyu's game is more refined especially her receive and BH loop. But can never count out Annett who beat Miwa in teams at the Olympics.

I think you should look at the scores and the way the match went and decide if it was hardly a challenge with the last game finishing at deuce. That said, everyone is entitled to to their own opinion and yours and Tony's have merit. Again, one can look at the history books and see wherher it is true that Kuo and Felix mostly went to senior tourneys at the age of 15. But Faraji's play has to speak for itself l, 15 year old have to he Harimoto to be good these days.

yeah, since Cho, a top 20 player earlier this year, beats Kao 3-1 and Huang 3-0
little Kuo did pretty well to keep the fight alive, finishing with 39 points over 4 sets.
luckily Cho is a much higher ranked player, and not 2 years younger otherwise you going to go on for many posts.

have to say, Kuo first year playing seniors has so many good wins already. Played so well for his 1st season that I had 3 clubs wanting to pay good money to sign on Kuo and to build a long term relationship. Kuo refused and says he want to take it step by step. Way ahead of the curve and no commercials too.

Kuo for sure has better coaches and better training conditions, sparings and potential practice with high level players like Feng and Kao. While Faraji can practice only with Alamian

Upcoming season Faraji will train in Düsseldorf and play 2nd Bundesliga for Velbert
even though I know some news article said 2nd, but he is registered as 2.1 for Velbert, in the 2nd team, of 3rd Bundesliga.
2.1, he can only play lower for 1st team (2.bl)
but in the news article, they said he will play up?

I don't have info besides the news article, but considering he's 3rd TTR in Velbert i guess the reason for 2.1 is being 2nd with A status? He should get some 2BL matches regardless

I agree he will get 2BL matches.
but for him to play up in 2BL, need to have 3 players above him not playing, otherwise, he can only play down.
So that is why it didn't make sense that the news article say he will play up in 2BL

other than that, 2BL team already has an international player in Yuan Xuansong, so Yuan(1.2) will need to sit out for the kid to play, and I doubt they will miss a 2400+ player and 2 more 23xx player to allow the kid to play, back with 2 more reserves from 2nd team (this is the only way for the kid to play up). This will make Velbert very weak on the lower part and I doubt the kid can handle a very strong 2BL up in the 2025/2026 season, almost every team have 2450 level up players, some even close to 2500.

So I think the kid will only play 2BL low, and have Verdonschot and Rossi play up.

They registered him for the 3BL and he will play in the 3BL but he will also play in the 2BL if some player is missing. Not every contract is for one year or more, some are per game, so when you see some registered players in a club doesen`t mean that these players will play 100% of the games. So he will probably fill in in some of the games in the 2BL.

Togami destroyed noshad alamiyan but noshad is not happy at all, constant complaining and arguing throughout the match. not really sure why but i think noshad had an issue with Togamis serve
