I’m Kennedy, I’m 12 I have been playing table tennis for almost a year now. My biggest achievement was taking former world number 753 to the fifth game in my recent tournament! My current usatt is 1808 (he’s still in his 20s so it’s not like I played some 90 year old who was retired)😁

@KTableTennis Congratulations on taking a 2130 player to the fifth game. It looks like you are threatening players above your level. However, you have to be realistic about what his world ranking means, which is nothing.

When you get to the rankings that low, it is players from countries that are very weak in table tennis but they are able to get a world ranking because they still get to represent their country at world events.

Realistically about that guy who is former WR753, but yet he is 2130 USATT and his highest rating was 2200...

There are tens or hundreds of thousands of players in the world who are better than him. There are many amateur club players better than him, and basically, any professional player from most countries will be much much better than him.

If you look at things another way, his current rating of 2130 means that he wouldn't even be in the top 750 in the USA right now, and that is only considering CURRENTLY ACTIVE tournament players.

Meaning he is probably outside the top 1000 or 2000 in the USA alone if you include inactive players. So you can only guess where that puts him in world rankings if the world rankings were actually reflective of skill.

World ranking doesn't really mean much until you get inside the top 200 or so, and even then, there are people ranked much higher than they should be.

All that said, I am sure you will have more bigger achievements coming soon.

Very nice. When will that be? Did you get an idea of cost?
I still need to call him to figure that out. It will probably be in 2 years because next year I am going to mirendela center in Portugal and it will be with housing food and training 6 days a week 6 hours a day for $1500 a month

I am former tennis player who has always secretly like TT more. I have been serious about improving now for the last 2 years and im in my mid 20s. I have LP chopped for the majority of my training but I am bored of it now and am looking to buy a new 2x inverted :).

I am FH dominant and still learning my BH strokes since I focused on chopping mainly. My best achievement is getting 3rd place in local Saturday league(and 10x consolation brackets 1sts lol)

crappp mb mb im at scl ill try to remmember when i get home
To others reading, @YELLOWCLAM claimed that his coach is "sponsored by the factory that makes Butterfly and Nittaku products" (lol, they aren't made in the same factory, and factories don't sponsor coaches or players) and that his coach provided him a sheet of Zyre. Also, when I asked him who his coach is he claimed to not know his coach's last name.

Someone who had breached contract by providing prototype equipment would only do so with someone they trust extremely well, and that news would never make it to an international forum...

I now highly doubt you are a member of the HK national team as well...
