Is anybody can compare LAC to Double Fish Volant Phoenix?
They're pretty similar. LAC I think has a stiffer topsheet. LAC has a semi-porous but hard sponge. Maybe LAC has a slightly grippier topsheet.

But functionally they are both really similar and excellent. Good arc, good rebound, strong reaction to booster, high spin, semi-tacky.

How about speed?

I use the word "rebound" basically to describe the speed. After boosted, both rubbers are probably the fastest boosted Chinese rubbers out there. A-tier speed with booster. Faster than D09c.

Unboosted, both rubbers are medium-fast. Faster than H3, but slower than D09c.

Overall I feel Volant is easier to engage, easier to control. For high-level counterlooping, I think advanced players may prefer LAC. I have the H41 Volant but its really not that hard at all.

If I had to pick on speed, maybe Volant is just slightly faster. But they are largely fall into the same category.

Thank you very much! I will order to try it

I am a R9 User for 2 years now. On some hard blades the R9 was a tad too uncontrolled in some shots. I tried the friendship battle Taichi in 39/37. I start to fall in love with this dual sponge system. It has a lot of gears, but when you’re really hit hard, there comes a click sound and it feels like an extra boost. Really cool.Anyone else tried it?

if you watch aforementioned review of the rexton 7 you see a closeup of the sponge which actually looks like there is two different sponge densities in it. a open pored layer and a little layer close to the wood that is more dense, as if they "topped" of the sponge with a closing layer.

I Dont get direct info anymore, but loki now has some presence in social media such as instagram so its probably easier to ask them. Seem like a custom order, i dont get why would they push another non sticky BH rubber using R5 topsheet, when they have Telson 100 for the same price, Kirin 3/5 and Arthur europe Diamond.

years ago they had a non tacky Arthur in the official catalog, arthur internal energy i think, with its own ittf number, but it was hard to get since MOQ was 300 from the factory. They removed it from their new catalogs maybe around 2023

New Telson China and Germany to release end of the month🤯
In theory faster than Telson 100, it says semi sticky semi-tacky, w/e that means i assume more hybrid. In instagram they say to wait for their next product review😅🤣😎
Maybe this is the updated final version of the previously anounced Telson 100zz after testing.

But I'm confused. Are these 2 separate rubbers? Telson China and Telson Germany? What is the difference?

I see black comes in 57 and 55d. Red comes in 52 and 55d?

They are different rubbers, loki will explain the differences in future publications. But they have individual molds and ittf numbers so they seem invested in production (i feel they arent custom versions like the arthur china variations)

Germany will probably have the same hardness than the current Telson 100. China will like a D09c clone maybe? I will try both anyway. But I wonder what would be the actual benefit of Telson China over Rxton 7.
I Dont know the benefits over Rxton 7 but based on my previous conversations they push Telson 100 as a "Professional level jap style rubber" and know it seem they create 2 even better/advanced versions 🤷 so they will probably advertise them as the rubber of choice for "Pro" players BH. (All their sponsor players "use" Rxton 9 and Telson 100 so now they will push either china and Germany. I will take a guess that they will be pricier than regular Telson 100🫠

well another question, what is the benefit over arthur china. To me, Arthur China is better than Rxton 7. I found Rxton 7 too soft and unremarkable. Not particularly fast, fairly standard topsheet.

I received 3 Rxton 3 Pro and 3 regular Rxton 3 today. In contrast to LAC the weights of the respective types are fairly close to each other. To my surprise the regular Rxton 3s are 2g heavier even though the sponge is 1° softer (both use Negh Sponge I).
On the negative side, I glued a Volant Phoenix 2 today that I had lying around and it had a small bubble that I noticed right after putting it on the blade.

2x 52,5° Teslon China
2x 47,5° Telson Germany
will be in my mail box soon.

I'm eager to test them. My forecast :
- Teslon China close to Codexx 52° that I liked a lot
- Telon Germany close to Teslon 100 but sticky. Teslon 100 is still my BH rubber since April

Both are only available in red for now, and with 2 hardness each :
- China : 52,5 & 55°
- Germay : 45 & 47,5°

When China is available in Black, I'll order in 55°.

Anyone else tried LAC pro?

I finally found some to check it out. While i still cant tell anything about its longevity (need some more weeks for that and see if the topsheet falls off the sponge), this one is definitly a bit faster than the normal lac.
Slight adjustments were needed but i finally am capable to play with it on around the same level.
The other characteristics are more or less the same. But if this one survives longer than the normal lac, it is definitly a really good improvement and a good choice imo.
