if you watch aforementioned review of the rexton 7 you see a closeup of the sponge which actually looks like there is two different sponge densities in it. a open pored layer and a little layer close to the wood that is more dense, as if they "topped" of the sponge with a closing layer.

I think that's just glue on the side of the sponge. Happens to me all the time too.

It says sticky and not sticky at the same time, ridiculous.

I think they are at least semi sticky because there's a protection plastic sheet that is not present on the Telson 100.

I'm boosting them and test on Monday.

both semi sticky? Or just China? Any first impressions? Clear Differences between them and Telson 100? Sponge and topsheet

Both ''slightly sticky'' written, but also non sticky. It's in boosting process so I can't tell the differences yet. I'm betting that Germany will be very close to Telson 100. China is a little heavier, and it will be less easy to play on the BH, maybe close to the Codexx 52.
Boosting as per usual? 2 layers of JieChi? Did you or will you weigh them?

I briefly tested both Telson China and Germany. It was very brief, so take my statement with a grain of salt.

First, I tried the Germany on my Yinhe Pro 03 during warmup. It seems very close to the Telson 100 (which seems logical), which is very good. Later, I used the China on my second King acB, and surprise, it was awful at first. Very very very slow, not responsive at all. I've put all my slow backhands in the net. My opponent was very weak so I never had to play hard, so it made it hard to engage the sponge.

More to come tomorrow night.
