I know but that was over 3 years ago and I think LSD has grown more in those 3 years than Shinozuka has...would love to be proven wrong though

Yes, maybe the goal was to keep Togami away from WCQ who owns him, but I feel Shinozuka poses even less threat of an upset. Lets see..
Nah, Togami played like shit va Oh. I would argue that Togami can implement thr Faraji template better but if Shinozuka can execute, he has a chance.

just don't bring the statistic, Shinozuka can't hold a candle against any of the three CNT players here. JNT wants to bring some surprise, but they well understand that whether they put him or Togami the third match is sure to be lost

Update: I take back my words, Lin was under immense pressure and Shinozuka might have a chance this time.

Update again: it was a good attempt by Shinozuka, if this's Japan lineup for LA then I have high expectations

Shinozuka! Compare
Maybe I am just biased or haven't watched enough but this is the best I have ever seen Shinozuka play
Shinozuka has beaten a lot of good players, he is not chopped liver. He just gets injured and loses a lot of momentum and doesn't catch your eye because a lot of his game outside of solid quality is extremely calculated and precise shot selection.

Harimoto late - they should really penalize players for this if the awareness and apology is not sincere...
He joined the Dark Side after getting wrongly faulted at US Smash 2025. No more tatemae, only honne from here on out.

Trational TT - play with the forehand to set up the forehand and finish with the forehand
Old Harimoto - play with the backhand, finish with the backhand.
New Harimoto - play the forehand to setup the backhand lol.if the forehand cannot finish the point

I am digging this new innovation, it seems like it will be his own brand.
