ITTF Pan American Championships 2025 (Pan American Championship) – is an annual table tennis tournament for countries of North and South America. The event will be organized by USA Table Tennis (a non-profit organization that serves as the official governing body for table tennis in the United States) under the patronage of ITTF Americas (the Pan American Table Tennis Confederation). It will be held in Rock Hill, SC, USA from October 12 to 19, 2025.

The tournament will feature seven events: men’s singles, doubles, and team; women’s singles, doubles, and team; and mixed doubles.

Qualification for the Tournament

Only associations with no outstanding debts (including 2023 affiliation fees with ITTF-Americas) are eligible to nominate players.
Eligibility of players is governed by ITTF regulations (para. 4.5.1).
Qualification quotas are allocated as follows:
  • 4 teams qualified through the 2025 Central America Championships;
  • 4 teams qualified through the 2025 South America Championships;

8 individual players qualified via PAN AMERICAN RANKING — Week 29, will be invited to this tournament. These 8 athletes must represent associations other than the 16 teams that have already qualified. Each association may nominate up to 4 players of each gender (doubles pairs may only consist of players from the same association). All athletes must wear shirts displaying their surname from the first day of competition.

Format Teams:

The New Olympic System will be used. Each national association may enter one men’s team and one women’s team. Each team must include at least 3 players; each player may play no more than 2 matches. Order of play:
  1. B/C vs Y/Z
  2. A vs X
  3. C vs Z
  4. A vs Y
  5. B vs X
All matches are played in best-of-5 games format (first to 3 wins). The competition consists of two stages:
  • First stage: group round (preliminary groups of 3–4 teams, round-robin format).
  • Second stage:
    • Playoff for positions 5–8 (main draw),
    • Playoff for positions 9–16 (consolation draw).
Semifinalist teams will play a round-robin to determine final positions among the top four. Final positions not played out on court will be decided according to the World Team Ranking (September 2023).
🏓 The Pan American Championships serve as qualification for the 2025 WTTTC. Six teams of each gender will qualify for the next WTTTC.

Doubles:

Men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles events are played in a knockout system. Matches are played as best of 5 games. Pairs must consist of players from the same association. Each association may enter one men’s pair, one women’s pair, and two mixed pairs, including host associations.

Entertaining match. Kanak pushed him but Hugo was just too good.
Hugo reveals all Kanak's inherent limitations. It will be interesting to see whether Kanak can develop consistent solutions for them.
