Which TT official had the silly idea of publishing every player's date of birth? Identity theft risk for no reason.

View attachment 38470
DOB is public information though...
you can easily find DOB of every sport star out there, not just table tennis

Been watching Euro Champs this morning. I don’t know what it is about team competitions, especially Euro one, but I love watching it a lot more then most other events. Might be the European in me or the fact that its a team competition but I love it.
probably because any one can win?
the other continents, it is clear who is going to be final 8 and final 4
can't say exactly that in Europe, with some weaker players can beat stronger players, and the results could change

Sad that Liam is injured. Interesting that Connor is in the lineup. Is he better than McBeath and Baggaley or is this with an eye towards the future?
Subjective! “I” think he is better than Baggaley, not sure about McBeath, he has much better Ranking than either of them though. He certainly has greater future potential than either, of that there is no debate.

This event is not being discussed here - wonder why...

Went through the results for the first time today. Why did the French women's team mess up so badly? Before I reviewed the results, I saw a video in my Yotube Feed with Pavade saying they did what they had to do and I was thinking they were winning a critical knockout match to go into quarters or something... come to find out they lose their first round matches to both Spain and the Netherlands and have to go into the lowest bracket.

Some minor upsets here and there but most of the first round/group results were as expected other than that one.

They should have streamed the matches on Youtube. I could have watch multiple Youtube videos at once but they had to stream it on the ETTU website.

Umpiring is ridiculous.

It's geo-blocked anyway - should all be on tabletennis.tv for the US

Round of 16 matches running now.

It is really funny and pleasant to see Tokic still playing after a retirement ceremony was held for him and we haven't seen him on tour in years. Also interesting that no (relatively) young talent in Slovenia is currently strong enough to take that spot. Is Hribar injured or just not in form?

EDIT: Was looking up Tokic and came across this old TTD interview/post.

Hmm, Winter looked a little shaky in the group stage against Surjan, who led in G1, G2 and G4. Not that good either in R16 against Yu.

Charlotte Lutz still has not recovered from Paris 2024?

Dima is always recovering from something, and regardless, these are Germany's top 3 players at the moment.
Regardless, they're having a tough time vs Croatia now ! WTF Franz did vs Pucar ? and why is Duda having so much difficulties vs Pucar after winning the firsts 2 games ? this german team's got a lack of self-confidence.
