Changing my Loki E9

Hello everyone,

After a break of roughly 20 years, I've recently gotten back into table tennis! I'm in the process of getting my level back, although some of my strokes are still a bit rusty.

My Current Setup: Last February, to get back on track without breaking the bank, I bought a Loki E9 racket with RXTON 5 rubber on both sides (25€ on Aliexpress). It does the job for the restart, but I'm quickly feeling its limitations.

My Playing Style / Expectations:

• Former Level: I have absolutely no recollection of the equipment I used 20 years ago... However, I used to be very accurate (I could consistently place the ball on the same spot on the opponent's side 9 out of 10 times) and had good spin.
• Current Style: I am predominantly offensive, but I defend well too.
• Position: I play quite close to the table (I rarely step back more than 2 meters).
• Goal: To regain the precision and feel I had before.

My Request: I am now looking for a higher-quality racket (blade + rubbers) that would suit this offensive, close-to-the-table playing profile, with good control to help me retrieve my accuracy.

My budget for the entire setup is around 70€.

I don't know if that matters much, but I live in France.

Sanwei Fextra 7 + Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia FH and Yinhe Moon 12 BH is a good and cheap setup that you could use for a long time

Tight budget but doable:
All-wood blades from slow to fast: Yasaka Sweden Extra, Donic Persson Powerplay or Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive. Even cheaper 729 Z-1, Loki Kirin K5 or 729 Rosewood 5.
Carbon blades: 729 Blue Arylate (outer), 729 Yellow Arylate (inner), Loki Rxton 5 Pro Provincial (outer).

Rubbers: Hurricane 3 (Neo) 39° FH and 37° on BH.
Faster BH rubbers: Loki Telson 100, 729 Battle 2 Soft 37, Loki Rxton 7 37, Hurricane 8-80 37.

One of the most horrible ready-made rackets i ever owned. The blade felt virtually "dead". The rubbers were not the original Rxton 5 but some weirdo combos with different sponges. Normal standard R5 used to have just orange sponge but these now had I think pink and black. (it's been a while)

I won't make any recommendation for new stuff because i never saw you play.

Yes, this LOKI 9 Stars is a bit weird to play with... But enough to get back on track. My level imporved with this racket, I can hold my ground with players around 800 (french ranks), but still not ready mentally to be able to win in competition ...

Anyway, the two suggestions are quite good, but if I can find it in France, I'll go with the "Sanwei Fextra 7 + Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia + Yinhe Moon 12". Otherwise I'll take the "Yasaka Sweden Extra + 729 Super FX (x2, Front and Back)"

Couldn't find the Sanwei Fextra 7 at reasonable price... So I went for the Yasaka, cost 62€ with both 729FX Supersoft
