How to boost hurricane 3 provincial 39˚ blue sponge + hurricane 3 soft 37˚

it doesn't matter. doming is a side effect of boosting. if you leave it on, you get less of a dome on your rubber because that protective sheet adds to the elastic deformation resistance of the rubber, but the effect you get from the booster is purely a consequence of the booster seeping into the sponge.

believing that those PE sheets influence the outcome of treating the sponge with booster is like thinking your cold won't last as long because you bought tissue paper.

leaving the protective sheet there until you cut the rubber to size is safer, but it doesn't influence the outcome of the effect of booster applied to the sponge.
But the booster still like spreads evenly through the sponge? if so thanks to u and every1 who replied. im gonna boost it when it arrives and maybe post an update

wait also one more thing, after all iv e heard, should i still do 2 thin layers on forehand and 1 thin layer on backhand or should i do a bit thicker? If i want a setup thats just as fast maybe as dignics 09c but doesnt make it uncontrollable? also when cutting the rubber do i use a knife or scissors and do i have to remove the plastic sheet whe ncutting? I tried cutting a rubber last time to fit someone's razcket and i didnt cut it tht well...

{edit} is two thin glue layers on both sides fine? or medium layers.

Speaking from experience, be very careful with booster for 37 and 39 hardness. It's easy to overboost and kill the sponge. I overkilled my 40 H3 blue sponge before, it played like dead. The softer the sponge the higher chance of overkill.

Strongly recommend 2 layers of glue before applying booster.

The dry glue layers ensure booster gets absorbed evenly.

BNut after applying the two glue layers do i need to like apply glue again after applying booster? how many layesr of booster do you rec0mmend for 39˚ and 37˚ then? is my initla 2 layers thinly on fh and 1 thin layer bh application to this case?

It depends on the type of booster you use.

For example, black booster expand the sponge much more quickly, white booster only expand a little but last longer. Yellow is in between.

Always apply a final layer of glue before putting the rubber on the blade.

Include the rapper when it is still a little bit curled. Don’t wait until it’s completely flat to minimize over boosting.

Haifu Seamoon booster i believe. is two thin layers on fh and 1 thin layer backhand wkth 2 layers of glue both rubbers ok? also do i keep the plastic topsheet protector on? i believe people already answered this but there were a lot of mixed opinions.

you are stressing about it too much. just try out number of booster and glue layers incrementally and stop when you find your sweet spot.

I just want t omake it right so i dont ruin 2 rubbers =) but also if i decide to reglue it do i have to remove the glue layer on the blade as well and redo that one?

Just put 2 layers of booster on ur fh, I haven’t used 37 on bh but 1 sound right for the softness. I have been using h3 for over 3 yrs now initially with 39 prov bs now 40. My method has been been same throughout 2 layers on new rubber 12 hours apart, wait couple of days for the dome to reduce then 2 layers of glue on rubber and 1 layer on blade.

When reboosting remove the glue off rubber and blade, then put 1 layer booster and same glueing process and paste.

My general practice is I boost new rubbers then reboost 3 months later and then after another 3 months I change to new rubber. So each yr I got through 2 sets of rubbers.

So i just boosted both of them after trying unboosted for a week and after boosting i did a few bounce test, i did 2 thin layers both sides and waited till there was no more booster left on the surface. then i glued it on and bounce test, it for sure is faster but i didnt know what to expect. like its faster but not that much faster. Havent trained or played in it properly yet.

but for some reason the booster dried after 30-1hr fully?

That's quite strongly put. Yet, a sponge can expand in 3 dimensions due to boosting. If you obstruct expansion sideways using the adhesive sheet, the result is more expansion in thickness.
Of course when the dimensions are that far apart (2.2mm vs 150mm) the difference is likely to be small. But saying pertinently that there's no difference is just not correct.

Another benefit of removing the sheet: you allow the topsheet to get stretched sooner. The whole doming and flattening process should be quicker that way.

nah i boosted without the protective sheet on it. will the elasticity or like the speed remain indefinitely or will i eventually have to reboost? like will the effect go away completely or it will retain some extra rebound and elasticity?
edit: also do you know why all the booster disspeared after 30min-1hr even though normally like 12 hrs and 24hrs?

The sponge will be permanently stretched like when you inflate a balloon, which makes it a little bit softer. The sharp elastic effect will wear off and a rubber can be reboosted a couple of times.
Depending on your needs and use, reboosting is done every couple of weeks, to multiple months. Bottom line it's about your feeling.

The oil gets absorbed in the sponge pretty quickly, especially when you don't put too much on. If you still have a wet sponge after a day, I'd say you put on too much (or at least more than the sponge can handle).

Ah ok thanks. becuase ive reglued my rubbers twice already and there are already splinters on my blade. and i dont have sealant... so im just hoping there will b esome permanent effect so i dont have to reglue often. maybe next time ill get glayzer 09c instead of hurricane. maybe dignics idk.
