didn't say that, its just one explaining factor.
But her H2H to the best europeans is not good.
(Han Ying 0 -1)
Szocs 0-4
Polcanova 3-2 (1 of the wins is very old)
Szocs and Polcanova are now ranked below her, and declining.

Kihara 1-5
Nagasaki 1-4
Ishikawa 0-3
Ito 0-11
Hayata 0-4

Suh Hyowon 1-1

Shin Yubin 3-3 >>> this one looks good

I stand to my prediction. Nothing to do with her being chubby. Even if she lost 10 kgs she wouldn't be ranked better. Maybe with an anti, or rather short pips on FH ?
A couple of things:

1) A lot of these stats are presented very misleadingly if you dig underneath the hood, it would be ideal to be able to cut out matches before or after a certain date in order to be realistic. The Mima Ito record includes 7 matches that take place before 2014, which I have to point out because one may erroneously assume that if you are willing to point out that 1 win of Diaz over Polcanova took place in ancient times, the other matches are recent, which is very far from the case.

2) Szocs and Polcanova have always been ranked below her with very few exceptions. Any supposed regression they have had cannot be the cause of Adriana's current ranking or past ranking. That she is the #2 outside Europe maybe, but she has often been #1. The 4-0 score between Szocs and Diaz, a score which has gotten worse as Diaz has gotten better, does not square with your argument that Szocs is declining. The head to head against Polcanova is more competitive, but Polcanova has not lost to Szocs this decade in 5 matches, pointing to matchup issues. Again making the case that Diaz head to head against Szocs has more to do with matchup issues.

4. Here head to head against Japanese players will largely be not that different from most players close to that level. In addition, here are some of the players that Diaz has wins over that some of the Japanese players wish they did including

Zhu Yuling,
Chen Yi (who I don't remember any of the Japanese beating, maybe Harimoto?)
Shin Yubin (who Nagasaki has not beaten in 5 matches this decade after Nagasaki dominated her as a junior)
Cheng I Ching (who Kihara has never beaten maybe because both matches took place in 2024)

Okay, for fun, how much are you willing to bet that Diaz would never be top 10 again and what is the highest ranking you think she will have going forward?

Jang outplayed WRB pretty well woots
Jang has been in strong form this year, the debacle at the Asian Cup notwithstanding. And if he had flipped the last game of one of those 2-3 losses, it might have been a very different tournament.

You made a mistake somehow, I was shocked to see Alexis Lebrun and Satsuki Odo as XD partners and looked for it on your list but you have OH and Nagasaki in their place....
Thank you very much for pointing out the error. I fixed it.

What about the lack of empathy (to the point of animosity) towards Australian players? Don't you think that (elitism) could have a profound effect on the youngsters?

Continental points are inherently placed in the system to make it under-damped for underrepresented regions. No other way in the face of hypocritical Western values.

i don't like bets whose eventual payout is in 10Y or more. such a poor use of capital...

not in top 10 at the end of the season i'll give you 2:1 odds for 100$ you're getting paid to take the trade

SIDORENKO FEELS UNWELL SO FAR.

Sidorenka Vladi did suffered from the jetlag effect badly, as he just owned speaking to a Russian interviewer.
