I disagree. J3 37° boosted seems better for me on BH. But I loved M12 on the FH when I tested it almost one year ago. I might want to give it another try on the BH, but I don't forecast any + compared to what I already played with for the last 6 months. The closest would be Loki Telson 100, which is better.
Well Loki is a different brand, but yes I found that boosted Telson 100 is very much like a tensor.

Also, boosted Loki Arthur China is also very bouncy and very much like a ESN hybrid

Can anyone compare the Moon Speed 53 to the Moon 12?
I think the topsheet with the new Yinhe logo is gripper than the topsheet with the old logo. But I have only seen the M- hardness with the new logo.
The last four sheets of M12 I've ordered have the new top sheet (M- and M+). I second it being grippier, and having a more rich blue color. The old top sheet was ever so slightly paler.
It does seem that the new version (top sheet) is slightly heavier.

Haven't played with 3-50, but that's an soft tacky rubber, moon 12 is more like a budget tensor, just grippy. My guess is it's faster in the lower gears or faster overall with less spin.

Thank you but prefer to hear someone who played both rubbers

I tried today Moon 12 blue, also asked two coaches from my club to try it on my racket. They both where very impresive with this rubber. I tried it both on BH and FH and liked it on both sides. Too bad it doesn't come in black color and I can't use it on both sides.

I am interested in knowing a bit more of your experience using it, if you have the possibility to reply much appreciated. What blade did you use it on? Which version did you try? Did you chop, push, drop short, drive, loop, block…please compare with another rubber you played with on the same blade, what made it different. I don’t doubt it is good - it has been Mockers favorite for quite some time. I just want to know what to look for when I try it next time, and possibly what type of blade it pairs well with.

I was using Viscaria. Medium hard hardness. I did a bit chops, pushes, drive, loop and block. I was using LAC before so compare to LAC i had much more control and I could return more balls on table. I also had Bloom Power 45 degree before. My Moon 12 feels softer then both, slower then LAC but faster then Bloom. I am not high level player but my coach around 2300 USATT tried it and he liked it as well.

If you can make work of lac and like moon blue 12 you should get used to lac on fh and use the blue rubber on bh.
That was my setup with an outer alc some years ago and it helped me get a better bh by a lot.
Sadly i do hit quite hard so my lac(normal one) died quite frequently so i had to get back to H3 with is more capable to survive my shots for way more than 1 month 😅
