Yes I think the black side is long pips

Can it be medium pips? Have a hard time understanding how he could play long pips without breaking. I assume it is softer if it do not break, but can it hen be so fast? No sponge and fast blade? Played with some medium pips. 563 was awesome but needed to change it after one week, even with a pro or provincial version.

the video doesn't say what blade / rubber he is using. and I don't know personally know this player.

But i assume much easier to attack against backspin with long pimple. Much harder to smash on nospin or topspin with it.

probably some type of anti with attacking capabilities.

to be honest, coming from a guy who has used lp, sp, anti.....
they should just ban them all and make a federation of inverted.
if your level is low and you have to lose then so be it.
but the game is becoming horrible to watch with all these rubbers.
and frustrating to play as an amateur.

I know another guy maybe a little bit less strong but with a similar playing style (but more prudent and Blocking more balls, pivoting less often) and he is playing with long pips. So it’s actually possible.

I’ve seen him play in tournaments and even played a few times against him in tournaments too or practice.

I am not sure but I believe the secret of their technique is always to use sidespin to generate power with safety

Looking at the video, I see similarities with Ilius B 1.3mm on FH. The sponge is so hard and dead that it produces a sound like a gun with a silencer. Such an easy LP for offense.

They all using greasy, scurfy pips far below the standard friction 0.5. Dirty cheaters should be the most relevant naming for those dirty pimplers.
