Sanwei released a new version of it Sanwei Target National. The players edition is available in 38,39,40 and 41 degrees, colors are black and red. The sponge is blue and 2,15mm thick. This version seems to be very different to the gray sponge players edition.

Gan posted a review, but it has no subs and youtube does not provide any translation so far. Maybe someone can give any information about his thoughts in the video.

It is available at aliexpress and costs 30€ plus for Germany.

@Andrea Jiang - Do you have any official information?

Essentially he said that:
- the feeling is really good extremely similar to hurricane. Very grippy and has good bite when hitting the ball
- the rubber has slightly less dwell than hurricane
- the arc is stable but there's not as much kick to the ball as hurricane
- there is no catapult when pushing. Very stable.

Overall, it feels like the rubber is easier to activate but the ceiling is lower than hurricane.

I've seen many people using this phrase, but I don't understand what it means.

It looks like its the same topsheet as before. How many versions is this now?
At least 5 : dark blue cover on aliexpress (the one I play with for the last 10 months), player version, gorganda version, Sanwei website version, Pro version.

In your opinion, which of those is the best hybrid rubber? I've been trying to find an affordable hybrid rubber to replace my Dynaryz ACC.

That is like asking what city in spain is more beautiful, it depends what you like hahahah

Now in all seriousness, there are so many that is hard to say, but I'm sure D09c, Rakza Z, NUZN, BlueGrip, Stiga Hybrid, 8-80 and a bunch of others will be somewhere in the top25 :)

I don't know because I don't have played with the Sanwei Website and the Player edition. Among the 3 others, I can't tell the difference because I did not test the Pro and the Gorganda enough. But none of them will feel like your Dynaryz that is more dynamic because of the heavy tensor effect.

hahaha, I get that. I wish I could afford to try a lot more table tennis rubbers, but that's exactly why I'm looking for budget-friendly options. I will give the player edition a try then

thx for anwering, I'm not looking for exactly the same feeling, just something somewhat similar (and cheaper) so the transition is easier. The dynaryz was a bit too bouncy for me.

It will depend on how much you will boost it. But you'll have nothing "somewhat similar". Your Dynaryz is maybe close the my NUZN48, and on heavy top spins, it's not far from the STN I play with, but on any other sector, it's very different.

You have to get it for what it is, a Sanwei Target National, not for what it could be compared to your Dynazyz. It's 17€ on AliExpress, it's a cheap test.

I have to give Sanwei credit for trying, but at some point repeated releases of a rubber suggest an inability to deliver what buyers want. I for one would just go with either Hurricane 3 if that is what one wants. For me I think Friendship Battle 2 provincial or national versions is the way to save $. But what do I know, I have never met or bought a sheet of DHS rubber than I have liked.
