Why isnt Chang Yu-An playing, or at least even in the squad list for Taiwan, Ive just seen him shown in the stands on the broadcast. He is definitely better than Hung Jing Kai and Hsu Hsien Chia, proving it by getting to semis of senior asian cup, and same level I would say as Kuo (Kuo looks to be. He also seems to not play the Youth Champs even though he is a top seed (2024 and 2025). Is there a problem with him and the national team or? Otherwise there should be no reason hes not playing/on the squad list. @Tony's Table Tennis should know?
That answer is almost always some form of team trials or injury.

The decision to switch up 1st singles with 2nd singles as the XYZ team (slightly disadvantaged) took some serious balls to make. To carry that momentum from M1 to M5 for TPE and playing catch-up for SWE proved difficult either way.

M51: Truls can't receive.
Bobrow: "Truls serve and receive game are incredible"

Different strokes for different folks...
Whom do you believe, Bobrow, or your own pair of eyes, lol...

Trul's receiving is generally good, but he was struggling against Lin's serve today.

He struggles because Lin can attack anything, not because he can't do the same receives against 95% of pros and gain advantages.

Sweden going home empty-handed despite beating China (and South Korea). Same could happen to South Korea. Similar fate for Germany, which beat Japan but lost the rematch.
You can blame Lin Yun Ju, he decided to not play the first round and gave Taiwan a #4 seed which meant they would play Sweden or France in the quarters. Definitely would not have happened if he had played in the prelims.

LYJ said they "probably" [LOL] hoped to get the momentum going and he was more experienced so they wanted him to go up first and find the flow for them. This result is totally beyond their expectation as their initial target was QF because some members were playing for the first time and so hoped to gain more experience.

On Moregard, LYJ said they are both very familiar with each other and every point must be "micro-managed" because Moregard is very good at handling the fine detail. Even though the score was 3-0, if he dropped any 1 game, the tide could've turned. However, he thinks he handled the crucial points beyond his imagination today and played some fantastic shots. He thanks the team for the support and the excellent team morale.

Truls Möregårdh efter uttåget i lag-VM: ”Borde verkligen inte vara här” (Truls Möregårdh after withdrawing from the Team World Cup: "Really shouldn't be here")

(Sweden was eliminated from the World Team Championships after losing to Taiwan in the quarterfinals.

For Truls Möregårdh it was a tough evening where he was zeroed by Lin Yun-Ju.

– I really shouldn't have been here, says Möregårdh to SVT Sport.

Sweden lost 3-2 in matches against Taiwan. Sweden got off to a tough start when Möregårdh lost in three straight sets to world number seven Lin Yun-Ju. After that, Anton Källberg lost his match, which created a tough uphill battle.

“The air runs out when Anton is playing cod,” says Möregårdh.

The 24-year-old has major problems with a shoulder and was still happy with his own game.

– My doctors have told me many times that they don't know what I'm doing.)
