I'm confused; how does the point system have any correlation with prize money?
I suspect she is arguing that because women and men play the same length matches in table tennis, while in tennis for example, this is a dispute point in grand slams.

France lost their first 2 matches and got their only group stage win against host England, but is still here. If they win here, Camille Lutz and Audrey Zarif will get a medal without playing a match. It will probably depend on what Pavade and Charlotte Lutz do at 2 & 3.
They were bronze medallists in Busan so they do have some pedigree, even if they were arguably lucky. Romania though for me is the deeper and better and more deserving team, regardless of result. A team that is so deep that Diaconu cannot play regularly is something special. And even behind Diaconu, the depth is strong. France has similar arguments to be fair, but I still take Romania.

what do these numbers represent, just curious?

do 74% of the WTT-fans believe that their voted team wins?
or,
do 74% of the WTT-fans want that their voted team wins?

anyway, i found LSD's comportement really suspicious in his match against KOR:
Why suspicious? It was obviously encouraged by his coach and his mentors.

Later on, Hugo will try to be the first player to win 10 matches. He is 8-0, and he sat out one of the group stage matches. Kirill is 9-1. I think the most overworked player so far is Tomo, with 11 matches, an 8-3 record, and 38 games played. WCQ (at 7-0) could get to 10 wins if he is extended to 2 matches in either the semis or final.

On the women's side, Miwa is 8-0 (24-1 in games). SYS is 6-0. Pesotska (by not playing against Japan) and Goda finished 7-0. Sally Moyland finished 6-1, could've gotten more by beating Pesotska and if Namibia had shown up. She was 20-5 in games, with 3 of the losses to Pesotska. Doo Hoi Kem has played the most games far, with 31.
Bruna finished 6-0 too, while sitting out the last group match. Let's see if Hugo will get eliminated while not losing a match too. Felix will be tough to beat...

Samara usually loses to YJN so nothing changed there... 2nd game was the critical game.

Bernie can beat YJN though it has been closer recently. So it will come down Bernie can maintain her edge on the French team and whether one of Adina or Andrea can add a win.

Dragoman and Lutz have never played on tour - I would be surprised if they have never played anywhere.

Yeah, it doesn't actually say...

So it's either "predict the winner" or "pick your favorite", or both.

Hugo has the new rubbers... that said, he hasn't played a top 10 player so far because Brazil are the only men's team outside the top 8 that beat a seed (England).

The machine translation got confused by the wording and made a contextual connection between two adjacent clauses. It should read "Furthermore, [we've changed] from the 21-point system to the current 11-point system and [we've provided] the equal prize money for male and female athletes [and those] are all very important changes."
