My impression of Charlotte Lutz has forever changed after this match. She is a loud girl and a tough cookie!

WD R16
JCH/CHJ 2-3 Pavade/Ch. Lutz (-2, -6, 8, 5, -12)

This is a deeper field than Lagos so he has a lot of landmines. I wish him the best but I go with Coton.
Quadri just made me look an idiot lol.

Watching their game I was surprised with the amount of unforced errors cotton made in the 3rd and 5th, I reckon the pressure got to him. That said quadri was frying when he was given the chance
Quadri played what I would consider by far his best match of the year and Coton, maybe a result of youth and also coaching, became a bit too predictable. Quadri got better at countering the openers, limiting the effectiveness of the backhand and pushing fast into the forehand to get back to counter since Coton would almost always open cross court. Coton will maybe learn to control his risk better as he gets older? But it could easily have been otherwise, it was deuce in the 5th after all and for most of the match, Coton looked like he was in control.

Not to take anything away from Hitomi, who one could argue is playing like she's the best chopper in the world, but Miyuu's performance is really inconsistent.

Kihara has fallen so far off the path it is heartbreaking to some degree. Hope she rediscovers her fire.

Another crown for Odo it seems.
Tough draw for Hitomi who I think right now is the best chopper in the world. Honoka drew (and won against) Yokoi in her SF. Satsuki has been playing (and winning in) quite a lot of tournaments recently and was seen a number of times grabbing her playing shoulder during her match witih Hitomi. Lots of mileage on her shoulder the past few months, but she's positioning herself for the Olympics.

Dorr/Diaz 0-3 Kobayashi/Kihara (Q) (-2, -6, -9)
Not bad for 小林広夢/KOBAYASHI Hiromu (2002/9/21) who turned pro in 2025 after becoming Zennihon Takkyu 2024 MD champion w/ 伊藤礼博/ITO Akihiro (2003/11/23) who just retired this March to become a tax accountant. Kobayashi now has 2 WTT titles, with the first being the MD title w/ HAMADA Kazuki at WTT CT Buenos Aires 2025.

All the more reason to bash dumb players.
