Best budget rubber for BH?

Hello Forum-members,

I really like the Yinhe Moon 12 Blue, it has fantastic defensive qualities, but it needs a lot of effort to get high speed. Under pressure I often wish the higher gears were more easily accessible. I tried my FH rubber Goldarc 8 47° on bh, but that's too fast for me or too hard.

After some research some rubbers come to my mind:

Palio ak47 red
BTY Rozena

Should I get 2 rozenas a year or 5-6 ak47.
Which would give me better performance?
Do you have any other suggestions for cost-effective rubbers?
I want an easy to play rubber, especially safe bh loop on backspin, fast counter and blocks.

Think about the sponge hardness and responsiveness of the rubber which you want on the backhand. I am not sure that the alternatives which you mentioned and which are suggested by our members are falling in a narrow spectrum of hardness and trampoline effect. Also, it is important to mention what style you play or want to develop. If you just want to block and counter or you want to topspin the ball or want to play more aggressive punch game.
For a hobby player, 42.5 to 45 ESN hardness rubbers are quite good unless you really amplify your skills with help of a coach.

Not trying to bring you down, but fastarc g1 was horrible for me on backhand. However, it is an insane forehand rubber!!
Word for OP: As on the backhand, it's a little too hard and the throw angle is very high. I wouldn't recommend using it unless you are an aggressive backhand player. A lot of times I found myself over shooting because of the high throw. You really have to be precise. I don't know what it is, but banana flicks were not great.
Your post is budget, but others are recommending rubbers that I wouldn't consider budget. If you are taking in their recommendations, I strongly recommend Tenergy 19. This is my absolute favorite tensor rubbers.

Since this is resurrected:
I played Fastarc C1/G1 last season and while C1 was better than moon12, I still didn't like it, when I was going for higher power.
Spin ist great
Block and defensive shots work great too. Also opening up backspin is very easy and easy to control. But I think I bottomed it out on high power shots and lost control.

Now I play tibhar aurus on bh and I it hits the sweetspot for me. It's a but harder, so higher power shots feel better than on c1, but are also more rewarding than with moon12.
Throw is lower than c1, but still fine. Aurus blocks like a beast. More gears than c1. Very reliable rubber and I think its gonna last as long as c1.
Also you can get it pretty cheap on alix.

I just glued a Yinhe Moon 12 Blue medium hard on a replica W968 and wow it is amazing. This might be the best budget backhand I’ve ever played with. I will update once I get more time with it. It has some catapult effect that feels controlled. I don’t feel like it lacks any speed or spin.

I have one and it's really good, thinking to try it on my new blade instead of the C1, I think the BM12 Medium hard might be a touch harder than C1 super thick (2.0)

I haven’t played with C1, but I have wth G1 and S1. I would say those have a medium high to high throw angle. The Yinhe Moon 12 Blue medium hard has a medium throw angle. I actually did not think the sponge felt too hard. The topsheet has some softness that I think compliments with the medium hard sponge. I will clarify that when I play with it again.

If you do not rely heavily on speed, Loki Rxton 1 is pretty decent on backhand.

Yeah I have to try it also on this blade.. C1 is softer and slower than G1, so that's why I thought blue moon might sit in the middle.. but possibly will not be the case.

I did not find it react well to boosters. But even without being boosted, Rxton 1 feels quite stable and consistent if you can use your power and body to play. It won't do anything surprising you.

Did anyone mention yasaka hovering dragon medium soft?
It's not only a budget option it's just a great BH rubber in any price range. It's even good among Dignics perf range. Very light rubber too.
