WCQ's fans that do not like Sora (or anyone beat WCQ before?)
Yes, I believe they are Chinese fans who hate the Japanese and they would support all players who play the Japanese.
They are obviously unashamed of their hate watching being captured live on YouTube / TV

That question came up to me, watching Lind beating WCQ. Have you realized his attitude between the sets and at timeouts? He almost was unable to drink. 4 sets at 150 % is probably not healthy.
So, what's in them bottles and is there any dope testing ??????

watching Sidorenko struggle I noticed that he took quite a few "pills" in the brakes, I assume painkillers for his groin problems.

It brings up a question i wondered for quite a while now: "What kind of drugs are allowed at this level of TT and are the players somehow tested for doping " ??????
ITTF participates in anti-doping. Kanak was banned for missed tests back in 2023, and in 2010 Dima received a suspension for clen that was rescinded. He claimed it was from eating contaminated meat but that's almost never the case.

Those are the only two cases I know of, but the benefits of doping in table tennis are not very remarkable, vs something like swimming or sprinting.

Table tennis rewards strength and endurance just as many sports do. It is always a dangerous thing to say something like "the benefits of doping in table tennis are not very remarkable" - the benefits of doping in any activity are not remarkable, they just make it easier to train much harder and get more rewards from training harder, and that is essentially the problem.

They could use natural source e.g. kratom for this. Google says “At low doses, it acts as a stimulant.” Kratom / mitragynine does not appear to be on WADA’s 2026 Prohibited List as a banned substance

Kratom – scientifically, it is referred to as Mitragyna speciosa.

Plant Family: Rubiaceae (the coffee family)

Native Region: Indigenous to Southeast Asia

Traditional Use: The leaves have historically been boiled into a beverage or chewed to combat fatigue and act as a traditional medicine to treat pain, fever, and diabetes.

Effects: At low doses, it acts as a stimulant; at higher doses, it can have sedative and opioid-like effects.
