Flat fee duties are pretty stupid, even if I get the idea of trying to protect the domestic market against super cheap influx from Ali. And percentage duties are just going to be circumvented like they have been for ages by declaring values way too low.

but it's just insane that these regulators from EU when they were checking all this thing that they were going to implement they said

"well they will buy for 52€ and they will pay taxes of 25€...... this seems totally reasonable and fair to me.... let's move on and add all these regulations!!!!"
and they have competent people who they hire and pay money to plan all these things out.

I mean imagine that many EU countries already charge close to 50% of your salary in taxes.
now they add this....
and what will they do with all these billions that they get from citizens?
the same as always..... "let's build more weapons and have more wars!!!"

To be honest, most local stores can't compete against ALi or Temu pricewise. I have not gone to Walmart for a while because I bought most of my stuff from Ali, even just a couple of scissors.

There is this 3Euro Tax PLUS VAT (so for a country that VAT is 24%, it becomes 3.72Euro) They add VAT to tax!!! So nice!!
And even if you buy two exactly similar products but from different seller the price goes up to 6Euro plus VAT (7.44Euro in total)!

He just said he travels and Europe is one of many continents he resides in, and those fees can affect how he pays for things. Is there something you're not understanding, or do you just like complaining in all the threads at this point?
