I've been testing MX-P Infinity (max sponge) for the past week on my forehand. Very fast, excellent grip with the topsheet, so lots and lots of topspin. Definitely feel my attacks have an extra gear compared to MX-P 50. Medium-high throw angle. Really easy to loop backspin, even with my technique! Probably one of the easiest rubbers for looping backspin I have ever used. So whilst it is definitely an attacking beast of a rubber, I need to decide whether it is too fast for me. I will test out some more over the next few weeks and at some point I will post a longer review on my website.

Does it have the typical MX-P booster and smell?

MX-S is a great rubber, but topsheet durability has always been a problem for Tibhar. I doubt that they'll improve this.

They did actually really improve the topsheet. I was playing doubles and my friend's shoe dragged on my rubber face when I went to get a ball and thought it was gonna be cooked, but there was no sign of any damage.

The rubber plays extremely "true" and is definitely worth a try if anyone is curious about it

As a big fan of the original MX-S, i'm hugely curious about it. 70 bucks is a bit steep but if it's 20 dollars more durable than the original then it's probably worth it.

Is it still a pretty rigid topsheet? Is it trying to be like the modern hybrids or still just purely grippy? Give me the deets mannnnnnn lol

Curious how Infinity MX-P compares with Zyre-03 as TT11 did a blind test and said Z03 felt similar to MX-P 50

I'm really looking forward to it. Also can you add comparison to other 50 degree rubbers in your review later like dynaryz inferno or evolution mxp50 or nuzn 50 maybe?

My sense of smell is pretty bad. If I get my nose up close and give it a good sniff, then I get that sweet booster smell!

Too early to say. I've only had the rubber for 1 week. I will need to use it for longer.

That's the main reason I don't use MX-P - the booster smell makes it clear that its performance curve is tied to how long that lasts and for me the drop off when it leaves is significant. I prefer long lasting rubber to short periods of high performance given my budget and approach.
