I feel so much more freedom of movement, like better lateral movement and it feels like I'm playing in barefeet 😋 but with grip and no pain.
Okay so when I was testing different shoes this happened to me. It was because my foot was shifting inside the shoe, it was collapsing on lateral movement, or the sole wasn't completely flat to my foot and floor.
They are a no-name brand that you can get for $20 on amazon or like aliexpress. There are heaps of people trying to up-sell them. Like
here as the "Lorax Pro" lol!
They're so worth it for me! I always hated my feet sliding inside my shoe or worse not getting enough grip on the court. I mentioned earlier that I tried so many barefoot shoes and eventually landed on this one. They're technically water shoes,
but wear socks with them if you're going to play table tennis! Even though they're cheap, they have enough support to grip the ground and hold on even with the hard lateral movement in table tennis.
Here is a picture of my old pair that I really over-used lol! Like 8months of hard use.

This is the link to the ones I've bought on amazon.
But be careful and get the design that looks like this:
This other design is completely different and not great for lateral movement; these ones: (bad)
They are so good! But if you're not used to barefeet shoes, or don't walk at all barefoot, your feet and body will take time to acclimate. In the long run it's totally worth it for me because it helps strengthen all the supporting muscles that often weaken when using generic, super supportive shoes that we all are used to lol.
