NEW Stiga Helix Hybrid ?

Any hybrid rubber with hard sponges requires proper body engagement. Without that it will just produce some amount of spin, but low-quality shot. Plus keep in mind that body\arm\full swing with body engagement is a very physical demanding thing. I personally like to practice with hybrid rubbers to keep my body engagement with my strokes properly, but in long rallies of matches - it's not easy to keep freshness of muscles of your body during a tournament day when you have to play 6-8 matches in a day.
Sure, if you need to play just 1-2 match in a day only - it's worth it. But if you play more matches, well, I'm personally not that young anymore And my elbow wants some support and assistance from tensors. Why sacrifice then?

Try pairing hybrid with a outer carbon, stiffer blade , you will enage hard hybrid rubbber much easier.

On the topic, I bought a Helix Hybrid 55 , tested it on Xiom Cho Daesong TMX Pro ( outer blade) and FZD ALC.

on TMX - easily engaged, lots of spin, sometimes shooting out, deadly if you have a precise swing.
on FZD - since FZD alc is softer, it was harder to engage the rubber, more controllable but less lively, I did not prefer it.

Overall, rubber has lots of power and spin but has to have the suited blade for it. The spongs of this rubber indeed has more energy stored din it, however the topshet feels similar to other new hybrids,

Im currently playing with stiga helix Hybrid 55 on both sides on stiga inspiria hybrid carbon and I’m more than happy, works really well for my forehand loop and my backhand punch/flipp, it has both the directness in my opinion and the dwell to create dangerous shots, also verry good for blocking iv tried dignics 09c aswell but this stiga helix hybrid is something else….

I have helix hybrid M on fh its slightly tacky it can barely lift up a ball but the spin and speed is amazing

I have switch from Stiga Helix M to Stiga Helix Hybrid H on forehand. Its just feel better with a little more speed. I was not sure what to choose for my backhand so i tried Razka Z, DHS 8-80, Helig Hybrid M and Yasaka Shining Dragon 2. Out of these 4 i prefered Helix Hybrid M and now use it on my backhand. With the Razka Z for the second place. Shining Dragon 2 got a little "hard" feeling to it, but i really like this rubber also. DHS 8-80 im no fan of. To direct/low throw.

I don't think they've made changes on the top sheet, mainly the sponge, so it should be highly comparable to DNA

My experience of Helix Hybrid Vs DNA Hybrid.

- Helix is faster
- Helix has higher arc
- Helix feels quite similar to D09c, and I never thought DNA hybrid felt similar at all to D09c.

The top sheet isn't very durable, I'm playing Hybrid XH on my Luma right now and 3 sessions in it already has some permanent marks on the edge

That sounds weird. I’ve used Hybrid H on multiple blades for weeks/months without any physical signs of damage. The topsheet does lose some tackiness after some time, but nothing major. I feel the rubber plays the best 2-3 sessions into usage.
