Any hybrid rubber with hard sponges requires proper body engagement. Without that it will just produce some amount of spin, but low-quality shot. Plus keep in mind that body\arm\full swing with body engagement is a very physical demanding thing. I personally like to practice with hybrid rubbers to keep my body engagement with my strokes properly, but in long rallies of matches - it's not easy to keep freshness of muscles of your body during a tournament day when you have to play 6-8 matches in a day.
Sure, if you need to play just 1-2 match in a day only - it's worth it. But if you play more matches, well, I'm personally not that young anymore
And my elbow wants some support and assistance from tensors. Why sacrifice then?
