at all-Japan i think Sora is ahead iirc
Yup. Sora 2 H2H 0 Harimoto, two wins in 2025 and 2026.

Hot take: Harimoto "sandbagged" USA GS 2026 on purpose, because to him WTT CS Yokohama 2026 > USA GS 2026.

It is the kind of take that dependent on motivated reasoning. Has Harimoto ever won a slam before? Sora could pretty much have won both. What will be more interesting is whether the countermeasures Harimoto has deployed vs lefties are sustainable.

In a recent interview, Sora also spoke about training with Harimoto more. I wonder who benefited more from that lol.
From what I saw before, I kind of expected Harimoto to win this time. Hari boy is so keen to win, but sometimes needs motivation. Sora's win at US smash was a big stimulus to Harimoto. And after the win, he might just loosen up and go on a losing streak.
