Prior to her meeting with Hayata at WTTC 2023, WYD had only 1 loss to a non-Chinese player, Miu Hirano, losing 3-2,12-10 at 2023 Singapore Smash. And in all of 2022, WYD has zero losses to non-Chinese players. That's a record even CXT couldn't claim at the time.

Coming from the one who insisted that there was nothing wrong between Miwa and Hayata and denigrated "the *opinions* of some fans". Don't forget you misquoted and misrepresented Mizutani's and Hirano Sayaka's opinions on Hayata's win over WYD at WTTC 2023.

Other than ATTC 2023 and Asian Cup 2025, WYD has lost to non-teammates in every international and continental major from WTTC 2023 (Of note here is that R32 WYD 2-3 Hirano at Singapore Smash 2023 started the momentum). That's way worse than LGY.

Not gonna rehash this, but I did not misquote/misrepresent anyone.

Note that you are giving WYD's losses *after* WTTC 2023. Yeah, she lost some confidence after her loss to Hina (or to Miu Hirano if you wanna say that which is fine). But as I presented, WYD was quite strong leading up to the 2023 WTTC. And even in the 2023 WTTC match with Hina, WYD was actually behind 8-5 in both games 6 and 7 and kept coming back. It was actually looking bad for Hina many times in the match (down 8-10 in the decider as well as a number of match points against her after deuce), but somehow she came through.

Again as others have pointed out WYD was the defending bronze medalist in that match against Hina. Hina defeated her to replace her as the bronze medalist. Again other than Hirano, no one had beaten Wang Yidi at the time. It is easy now to engage in latter day revisionism that it was the least one could do. History always seems obvious in retrospect but the statistics at the time do not support your argument.

Kanak Jha doesn’t have to face Dang Qiu again anytime soon. Already played against him 3 times this year and lost 2 in a row against him.

May have lost 3 in a row had DQ won his match against ZQH.

ZQH playing really well lately. Almost beat Sora (at Yokohama I think) recently too. Had a 9-7 lead in the decider but lost 4 straight points.

I think he has a tough run though, I think he matches up worse against Harimoto.
