Not since 2024. China Smash is the only one that has increased the total prize money, albeit slightly.

We shall see what happens after the tournament, but on Monday the points from last year's China Smash expire. Sora Matsushima will be the world #1 again as WCQ and Felix, last year's winner and finalist respectively, will have big points expiring.

Yeah, it is what it is. People get old. It happens to everyone, some might even say it's natural. Average age of top 50 is now 27 years old. In the top 50 you really only have Dima and Jančařík who still perform near age 40. Aruna is nearly out of the top 100. One can only hope to be a Gardos.
