I know why but no, you cannot be more.versatille when you play at one speed all the time. You just can't, even if the other guy has technical deficiencies.
That’s true, but that’s precisely what he needs to work on. Whether he can manage it is another matter, of course, but his flashes of brilliance – which are sometimes sublime – and his technical skill are still just a touch above Tomo’s.

Great win for CY... am I allowed to say "great"? Beating world no. 1. There's always a surprise factor when she's playing the top players because when she's on she is capable of beating anyone in the world. Count me in as a fan.

If his technical skill was above Tomo's he'd have better results if you ask me.

Togami floundered here. Coach was great in the corner but Togami got tight in game 3 and capitulated in game 4.
Of course Truls sensed it and put the foot down as a champion does. It's a class issue imo. Truls is first class and does this more often than not since I've been watching.
He looks very Sampras. Do not show him weakness.
Not sure about the pace issue. Maybe Harimoto just has a more tuned in competitive mentality. Agassi was pretty much all out attack and faced the same criticisms but once he got his psych game right he was a GOAT candidate.

Shinozuka liked the post. Must be mad at Matsushima for MT at ATTC 2026. LOL

(Because Matsushima really screwed Hiroto over at the Asian Championships, making him play the 2nd singles and even ended up affecting his singles)

糯米糍兮兮 大登生气是很正常的 那天松岛不上场 给他排个二单 他半个小时以后就要单打 关系到他的世乒赛单打名额

(It’s perfectly normal for Hiroto to be angry. Matsushima wasn’t playing that day, yet Hiroto was slotted into the 2nd singles—yet he had to play his singles match just half an hour later—a match that had a direct bearing on his singles spot in the WTTC)

Play and watch the sport more, Togami is all out speed and power and offense, the problem is that he has no real safety gear. Either he overwhelms you, or he kills himself by going all out when he doesn't need to. Harimoto and even Sora can win matches just by blocking and defending, Togami doesn't know how to play that way, but it is necessary to be able to contain your opponent like Harimoto does for completeness.

Nah, she is cursed because she had a growth spurt and therefore couldn't win anything as a junior. Just you wait, she will mess up soon.

I'm watching more. Doubt I'll play more. I split my efforts in 3 sports.
Taking in your views and those of others too. It's interesting and informative.

Playing more is just about spending more time in the sport, you don't need to up your hours of play, but if you do play every week and compete in a few tournaments and see what opponents do to bother you, you will naturally appreciate what I am saying more.

Of course I play and compete every week. A bit of kids coaching too. I see your point. Maybe you see mine. It's not unreasonable.
