After 3 sessions with this bat, I found out that the Andro Rasant was a lot faster and spinnier than Tenergy and had the same amount of control as Tenergy. I would recommend the Rasant for your BH as it has a compact feel with the same feedback whilst playing. For the FH, looping was brilliant but I had to adjust to looping with Hurricane but driving was brilliant at any time. I'm looking forward to trying the Andro Rasant Grip after it releases in HK.

this is my set up and just had a 30 min drill and an hour game with one of my players...i used the tenergy for FH and i love its performance.it can be played midcourt or far away from the table.control and ball placement is great likewise topspin and flat drives.can also put spinny service...it can grip the ball no matter how low the ball is (thanks to the clipper, the best i have, because of ball feel and control).

as to the xp2008 for BH, it does not react much to incoming spin which i love, i can return spinny service on a backhand topspin or a flick.but can also put spinny serve.blocking is great with this rubber, you can't go wrong with it as i go from offense to defense then offensive attack...

...the blade clipper is best that i have,not too heavy, not too light,i don't have a weighing scale so i can't tell the exact weight of my setup...just enough for me...

only the blade and xp2008 are new...the T64 is not,i removed it from my previous set up using ma lin carbon and rakza 7 which i sold...reason why i have it sold is that i can't tame it...now with the new set up,i'm on the go...

@harveyaquino, take a look on the cut size of the T64 on the clipper, that is the size of the ma lin carbon, which has smaller face than the clipper...

I have a classic cliper myself,the feeling is awesome.I use to have hard rubbers it was so fast that I couldn't control it ,then I change to nittaku fast arc 1 .With these softer rubbers this blade is amazing,it is still fast with plenty of spin.

i had a problem though, its my performance, not the equipment...i need to work on my footworks and body movements...i'm 35 and irregularly play these days plus full of stuff in the academic work...just had the time last week and these coming weeks in preparation for our intramural so i need to wind up a bit, i will be coaching at the same time training our athletes and also will serve as tournament manager in TT here in our school so there will be enough of time to test and play with my bat...

after these, back to work...

nice setup...anyway, you know more than i do with setups cause yer a professional player...yeah, hope to play with you also...

got a problem with the rubbers in this kind of weather, they get moist while in play you have to wipe it all the time...anyway, i have to enjoy playing while i still have these free times cause after about a month, back to academic stuff!!! hope to see your video soon and also hope you visit our place to get to know you and play with you...most of my players are all great players but they seldom get to play with other great players from other clubs in the region...TATAPH only visited once with pres. ting last year...

well, goodluck with the setup too!!!hope to buy new rubbers cause i will try T64 on BH,still looking for a good FH rubber, i have a commercial H3 but its also black and my T64 is black...hehehehe

Really though, once you get rid of the initial topcoat of tack, XP 2008 SP plays like a Japanese/Euro rubber with excellent control on just about any blade. I cando whatever I want with it on BH wing. On FH wing, it could be an emergency FH rubber, but it is not nearly as good a rubber as Aurus on FH.

yep...that's true sir...anyways, I already feel the XP's greatness on BH wing, i love the grip and control especially on blocking (even if you don't angle the racket especially if you are caught with surprise) and ball placement...you can't go wrong....

gonna try that aurus next time...still enjoying this present setup !!

After a few sessions with DHS NEO Provincial Hurricane 3 on a Stiga Infinity VPS, the things that I definitely like are:
1. The control is fantastic and my forehand topspins against blocks are fabulous.
2. My Rasant had lots of control and feeling and my backhand had never felt more alive.
3. The VPS was very light even with two heavy rubbers weighing only 82 grams without rubbers.
However, there is one slight problem.
When doing forehand topspin against backspin, my powerful attacks keep falling to the net. I have a very good Chinese loop and it is always my lethal strike.
But with Infinity, that changed a lot. I couldn't perform a standard European loop with Infinity but with rubbers like M2, it was so easy. The backhand was amazing but my forehand performed poorly. Any suggestions on how I could perform a deadlier Chinese loop with accuracy for players with a similar setup?

m2 is not a chinese rubber therefore a euro loop would work fine.neo h3 is a chinese rubber and requires a chinese style loop.

Maxwell, I think on that blade, you would LOVE Rasant MUCH BETTER than you would on most ALC blades. Rasant really shines on a wood blade with some flex.

I gave you a few suggestions on the thread you created for your loop.

You basically decide to go for fast attack, or controlled attack. generally, if the ball is weak spin or high, a fast attack is a good choice high percentage enough.

When you need more time to be in position or the spin is heavy and ball is low, a slow loop (creating heavy topspin and not so much pace) is a lot more high percentage shot that will often get you a ball to attack stronger next shot. (unless you land it high in center depth - those are too easy for opponent)

It is possible your new equipment plays different than you former equipment and you need to modify some. Anyway, I wrote a few thing to pay attention to for your consideration.
