The good old Butterfly Grubba ALL+ A very versatile blade. I'm talking about the old version with the white/brown handle. I haven't tried the new model.

Stiga Allround Classic is just about the perfect blade for a young developing player. Not too fast, but not exactly slow either, soft feel and loads of control. It plays well with most rubbers, so you can easily develop your game for at least a couple of years with this blade.

The Butterfly Maze Performance blade is a very balanced blade. I play it with Hexer 1.9 and Hexer Duro 1.7 and it is well balanced, as in not heavy in either "direction." The same rubber combo on a Grubba All+, Andro T-tech All+ and a Bty Kiso Hinoki V made those blades head heavy.

I just switched from BTY Radial Win to Mizuno Cross Match Plio RX2. Both are high quality shoes, low cut, good grip and good floor contact, but the Mizuno has a much better fit than the BTY´s. Archsupport is the same in both shoes, and heel cushioning is a little better in the BTY shoe...

Rakza 7 soft is a great T05FX alternative. Durable, spinny and less sensitive incomming spin and great control. Very reliable rubber.

I am not familiar with penhold blades in terms of speed and control but in the shakehandworld, the Allround Classic and Sriver rubbers is a very safe bet for a beginner/learners setup. Sriver L is IMHO the best learning rubber there is. Very easy to play and control and yet it's precisely hard...
