Well this match now decides who wins the group. Tough on Harimoto, all the momentum is with Felix. Thanks Coton. Now we get to see Felix vs Harimoto 🤩
Only if Germany wins, not looking like it right now. Otherwise any win for Japan is enoughWell this match now decides who wins the group. Tough on Harimoto, all the momentum is with Felix.
Important caveat. I forgot that LYJ put on his uniform for Taiwan today.Only if Germany wins, not looking like it right now. Otherwise any win for Japan is enough
Wow I canf believe I actually want Togami to retire as well. He might be bringing back thr Olympics in full force. Looks like this is going to all fall on Sora lol..This one calls for its own post.
MT Grp2
JPN 2-1 FRA
M3 Togami 2-3 Coton (6, -4, 10, -9, -12)
G5 1213 the WTTC 2022 MT SF Togami struck again and didn't even serve on the damn table!
Retire, Togami! The same old Coton already gave him the chance blowing 2 game points in G3.
As LGL said back in 2010, 1 to 2 matches are all it takes to judge a player.Wow I canf believe I actually want Togami to retire as well. He might be bringing back thr Olympics in full force. Looks like this is going to all fall on Sora lol..
Armchair experts on physical conditioning always know how best everyone should look. Telling when someone else should lose weight is not about how easy or ideal it is for you, it is about having worked with others to optimize their conditioning and knowing the nuances of such subjects when optimizing the performance of high level athletes. As far as LSD losing weight, I am not sure it would help. There have been a few high profile TT players who were forced to lose weight and they played worse. The coaches then decided to let them play at whatever weight was natural. I won't out anyone but maybe people can guess who they are.
LGL and I don't agree on that one but he is a winner at TT so... for example look at Falck... sorry Karlsson... je did lose to Jarvis and has a rep but he beat Junsung Oh for a huge win. Then look at Dang eho looked like a Superman yesterday or Felix who was unplayable until he faced the master... and look at the master yesterday and today lol...As LGL said back in 2010, 1 to 2 matches are all it takes to judge a player
Doesn't make much sense to me.As far as LSD losing weight, I am not sure it would help. There have been a few high profile TT players who were forced to lose weight and they played worse. Strength is a bigger factor than being light. Strength doesnt necessarily mean bulk but it is more important to be strong than to be light for any athletic endeavor. Optimizing for the right balance between Strength and speed (and they are not unrelated) is key. Endurance is also a factor but i find that many slim people focus on weight but not on strength.Doesn't make much sense to me.
Inertia is a huge factor in footwork.
Also, being lighter on your feet just feels so much better than being heavy (). Less strain on your ankles and knees as well.
I speak from personal experience, having played a few matches in the Croatian Superleague during COVID after letting myself go a little and it was horror.
