Why do some brands have products that are not on their website or catalogs?

Hi guys, I always have one thing stuck in my mind, why some brands make products that cannot be found officially and only some stores and forums have them? Brands like Yasaka, DHS, yinhe, loki

Many of those are Chinese-market-only exclusives which get sold abroad via Aliexpress etc.

US, European and JP/KR players generally tend to buy higher grade, more expensive products, so maybe the Chinese brands don't feel it's even worth distributing and marketing everything to them, and mostly stick to the mid to high range.

I was wondering the same thing. Because of this, I could never find much useful information about my Yasaka Atletico Spin Pro, so I just bought it, gave it a try, liked it, and decided to keep it. Even now, I'm still not 100% sure what kind of wood or carbon it uses 😅

Have a look at the following thread to get an idea just how big the Chinese market is. The rest of the world combined is so small it may practically be considered non-existent to those brands. That's the scale China works at.

Yes, I bought my couple of Victas Blockman from Aliexpress, not available in Europe. Also I have to pay near the double the price in Japan stores including shipping expenses, so a blade that cost 40€ + shipping in Japan for us in Europe cost 90€...

Agree with you!!!...I was looking for Yasaka Atletico Power Pro CS, and the only place to buy it was AliExpress or Prott.vip; even the Yasaka website doesn't have any reference to it.
