  1. Is it possible to improve with only robot training?

Take a look at this PechPongTT
  2. Returning to table tennis, lots of change! Did I buy the wrong blade and rubbers?

The commercial version of the H3 37 in Europe is called "soft".
  3. Returning to table tennis, lots of change! Did I buy the wrong blade and rubbers?

I would like to agree with the recommendations to start with a "quieter" setup. When I started playing table tennis again 2.5 years ago, I stuck new tensor rubbers (Xiom Vega: Asia FH, Europe BH) on my old Butterfly Primaroc (5 ply) - and even that was clearly too fast and bouncy. Especially on...
  4. Most reliable and long-lasting non-tacky rubbers other than Butterfly.

For me, Xiom Omega 5 Europe lasts long. The top sheet is not tacky and feels a bit hard, but I made very spinny loops and deadly backspin pushes.
  5. Xiom Vega series

Yes. At xiom.eu you get a comparison: Vega Omega
  6. Top 10 Best Backhand Rubbers of All Time

I'm wondering why you talk in that respectless way about a person, it seems you don't know. Only because of a list, that was cited by a member here!? I started following "EmRatThich" some month before I returned to table tennis 2,5 years ago (after COV lockdown). As I was a youth coach 35...
  7. Chinese National Team Warm Up Matches for Asian Championship

Do you know that tool (AI), that cuts those match videos automatically? ERT wrote an articel about it. At that time, it was for free. ... Found it BetterPlay
  8. TSP Balsa 6.5 (old model)

Thx ttarc, unfortunately, the update of the 6.5 is not the same, referring to revspin.org. I would make a try, if I could get the blade for testing. Same answer to JHB. Right now, I feel more save with the 6.5 than with my former blade, the 301X.
  9. TSP Balsa 6.5 (old model)

Would like to own a 2nd one as a backup. ST or FL.
  10. Hello from Germany

Dankeschön! Do you know, the "Soft" declaration is related to a European rule? It seems, the H3 Market has too large tolerances with the hardness. Personally, I'm talking about 37/38 hardness for my BH. That's 46-50 ESN and not "soft" in general terms.
  11. Hello from Germany

Old men are not that easy to tempt (no?) :sneaky: As you can see on my complete list, I used several ESN. The last one was J&H 2.1. I bought a 2nd-hand H3 soft just for trying - and I liked. Sometimes I'm missing a bit of bounce on the BH. BTW: what's your opinion about the difference between...
  12. Should I give up using tensor on backhand?

Wasn't there a "I played with .." on Youtube, made by Dan? As I remember, Darco explained, why he changed the FH rubber (only!) to K3 and that he climbed the worldranking with this new setup that much.
  13. How to reglue a recently glued and boosted H3N on a new Blade

I'm aware of the needs with boosting. My seller told me, sometimes the Falco long is the problem. @ Reverse dome: are you talking about the old voc-glue or really the speed glue, which was more special, if I remember right.
  14. How to reglue a recently glued and boosted H3N on a new Blade

So you say, a reverse dome means, the booster is (mainly) gone? I yesterday had to re-glue a H3 BS, that was boosted 10 weeks ago. Almost impossible to put glue because of the reverse dome. Another thing I realized, the glue (Revolution No. 3) was greasy, so apparently a mixture of booster...
  15. Xiom Vega series

If you search for a really hard rubber, make a try with Omega 5 Asia
  16. Xiom Vega series

I like the Omega 5 series more than the Vega, cause it's less bouncy. The O5 Europe has a harder topsheet, so it feels much harder than the sponge is. Very nice for blocking and conter attacking via BH.
  17. Hello from Germany

I'm another player, who returned to TT after more than 30 years. In the mid 1980's I was a youth coach with a team in the highest federal (provincial) league. I have never played at a higher level myself as I only started playing as an adult without a coach. And working as a trainer, up to four...
