  1. New Hugo rubbers from Joola

The price is high but I understand what Joola is trying to do, to me these are indeed newer and "higher tech" rubbers than Joolas previous cutting-edge releases like Inferno and ZGX so they should be priced accordingly. From my most local general supplier, Trinity is priced in the same range as...
  2. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

A lot of rubbers fit this criteria lol. Can you narrow it down? Do you want something closer to O7P or something closer to D09C?
  3. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

Helix is not as punchy but has much better spin quality. Both are fast but Pro M is definitely more of a speed based rubber while Helix M focuses on spin. I think you can hit harder with Helix M before it starts to give up though Pro M is better for backhand, H is pretty hard and unless you...
  4. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

For good reason. Butterfly rubbers tend to be lightweight and durable. If D05 is too fast then avoid DNA Platinum H. If you really want a Stiga rubber than Helix M is probably my favorite choice for backhand
  5. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

Honestly? If you like D05 but think its too fast then I would try Glayzer. Pro M is not bad at slow opening but its not its strong suit, Glayzer has better topsheet grip and a safer arc on brush while maintaining good control and speed on counter/punch. Imo Pro M is faster than Glayzer in the...
  6. Viscaria or Innerforce ALC which suites better with a Dignics 09C/05 combo?

All good equipment, just boils down to your preferred behavior from the blade. D09C has a pretty high trajectory and D05 needs a harder impact than D80/D64 so personally I would pick Viscaria because it is harder and punchier with a lower arc than IFLALC/HALC
  7. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

Pro H is reaching towards the realm of D05/D80. Less grip and less topend speed but more straightforward, less complex. Great smashing and countertopspin, but when I'm using ESN50 degree hardness rubbers on my fh I play a bit better with topsheets that have a bit more grip than Pro H. I like the...
  8. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

Where? Lol It might be a lot to adjust to, but I think its worth it to add an outer ALC blade to your test pool to see if you vibe with it. Pro 01 or D715 are both pretty cost effective and well built Viscaria-type blades to get a taste for outer ALC
  9. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

I think inner ALC is better for me than outer ALC for high power off the table, but only if you have the energy to expend. In general they are slower than outer fiber blades but in my experience they provide higher safety especially when hitting hard. Outer fiber blades you tend to have to hit...
  10. hitting net a lot after boosting hurricane 3

How long did you wait between each layer and before attaching your rubbers to the blade?
  11. I want to upgrade my table tennis blade - Currently using donic waldner senso carbon.

Control is relative. Some people think Viscaria is a mild feeling blade with good control, others think it is a hard and bouncy blade with numb feeling. WSC is not a very aggressive carbon blade but it does have good feeling and control in my experience, do you want something more or less...
  12. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

    Received it today, thanks!
  13. Rakza Z vs Bluestar

RZ series has better spin and better arc. But Bluestar is much faster and far more explosive
  14. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Hugo KLCI (85g) with Trinity Dynamic 2.0 (Joola USA sent me 2.0 instead of max by mistake) and Tronix ACC max. Cut to this blade the sheet of Dynamic is about 50g and the Tronix is about 49g, 2 layers of DHS No.15 on the sponge and one on the blade. I'll have a knock with the setup tonite I...
  15. Xiom Vega China VM Review

There are quite a few rubbers fairly similar to XVC imo- from experience I feel Rakza Z Extra Hard, Codexx 54, Hybrid K2 and Golden Tango all belong to roughly the same technology generation. Rubbers like Rakza Z, Codexx 52, Sieger PK50, Hybrid K1 Euro and Golden Tango Powersponge being the...
  16. The inside view, design, and construction of factory blades that come to us for repair

I'm pretty sure the Diode V and Diode Pro are both Anigre outer, like the Matsushita Pro Model, or Yasaka Extra. The JSH outer layer appears lighter than the Diode V/Diode Pro with different grain pattern to me
  17. Ibrahima Diaw review of the new Hugo Joola rubbers

I've got a sheet of the Dynamic on the way. I'm guessing it will be pretty similar to JH C52.5, and I'll be surprised if it isn't
  18. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

I put rubbers on cut to an MJZLC and FZDALC and it's definitely 157 tall but the Hugo KLCI is definitely a smidge wider, I'd say 152 wide is accurate
  19. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Digital calipers read about 5.9mm thickness. Handle is semisquarish, 24mm thick, 26.5mm wide in the middle flaring out to 29mm at the base Vs IFLALC Vs HTSALC Vs Stiga Aura
