  1. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Is the headsize of the Hugo blade really 155x150mm?
  2. Any news and info on Zhang Jike's New donic bluegrip j line?

There's a chance you might get along better with J2. Nuzn55 and J1 both feel hard, N55 maybe a bit softer, but you gotta hit hard with both rubbers to get them to sing. Still it might be worth giving a try because there are some similarities between the two, Nuzn feels more like a Euro rubber...
  3. Yasaka Rakza Z Review: Still a good hybrid rubber in 2026?

Vega China is pretty hard, Rakza Z is noticeably softer. In that aspect I think RZ would be easier to transition to, but Vega China is faster than RZ however since it is pretty hard you also need to be able to hit hard with it to get the best of it
  4. Short pips forehand

    Zhan Jian
  5. Most hardest sponge with tackiest top sheet Chinese rubber in your experience

I don't think its manufactured anymore, but the RITC SST with God Favored sponge
  6. Backhand rubber for Nittaku Acoustic

    Helix platinum H
  7. What is this blade?

I don't think I have seen them named. I have encountered a few in the wild and they seem like the type of blade I was able to make by going to an arts & crafts store and buying birch plywood/balsa planks meant for basic crafts
  8. What is this blade?

Hunter is the in-house brand for Paddlepalace, and I believe they produced these blades with birch plywood on a balsa core.
  9. Something like between Rakza Z and Rakza Z extra hard

Genextion V2C, compared to many other modern Euro hybrids I have tried it has some of that topsheet grabbiness of Rakza Z while being faster. Its nowhere near as sticky as Rakza Z though, and for a rubber that is as sticky and as grabby as RZ but with more speed I would recommend Gewo Codexx 52...
  10. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

If Yasaka can give us R7H after all this time then I'm sure that Nittaku can give us G1H. Genextion series are 52.5 degrees, and I think Nittaku definitely has space in their lineup to afford introducing a midrange 50 degree rubber. At present IIRC the only 50 degree rubber they have is the...
  11. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

I'm still waiting for Nittaku to give us the 50 degree G1
  12. Tibhar Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon Review

I think the Anders Lind is a nice blade but my favorite inner is the DHS Hurricane King ACB. Both are pretty similar but the Lind is better suited for backhand attacking and the ACB supports forehand more
  13. Tibhar Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon Review

Never tried the Xtreme but Hypercarbon in my experience is harder and stiffer than AFC. I think AFC has a softer feeling with more flex and kick when looping but HC is punchier and more aggressive. J3 to D64 will also be a very big change, J3 has good spin and control but is a bit slower whereas...
  14. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

Nuzns have lower arc than RZ and D09C. Bear in mind Nuzn is borderline nontacky, the topsheet is just fairly soft and pretty grippy more than sticky
  15. Topic for blade collectors, Butterfly blades "must have"

Korbel Magic Hand, Kreanga Aeros (glass fiber)
  16. How much does a blade handle affect gameplay?

You might have to adjust your grip. Is the racket aligned parallel or perpendicular to your palm? Playing forehand with penhold is a lot more natural and functional if the blade face is oriented parallel to the palm, if it is not then you kind of have to contort your arm and wrist to facilitate...
  17. Fastarc G-1: lightweight alternatives

Nuzn55 is heavy though and K3 has terrible durability. J1 and J2 also have bad durability but it is better than K3. Much 55 last a long time Rakza Z series are less powerful. They are very durable but kind of slow. Rakza Z would be far softer and even the EH version is softer than the Turbo...
  18. Fastarc G-1: lightweight alternatives

My current sheets of pro M tend to weigh around 44-45g and my G1 2.0s have been around 47-49 Pro M no glue I don't have any regularly cut G1 to compare at the moment
  19. Fastarc G-1: lightweight alternatives

How about Turbo Orange instead of Turbo Blue? Its lighter, and despite being softer and less powerful than Turbo Blue its still a hard and sticky Chinese style rubber. As for backhand, maybe check out Glayzer or Mantra Pro M. I think G1 is more supportive and has more spin when you are hitting...
  20. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

Whatever overall racket weight you are comfortable playing with, ask yourself if you could handle 10-15g on top of that
