I've had a few sessions with Z2 Special Edition, sponge is 5 degrees softer than regular Z2, available in max thickness only though. Reminds me a lot of a softer dignics 80, really nice BH option for me, was surprised at how good it was.

Depends on your own personal preference I think. I like soft outer on bh, hard outer on fh, when close in. But I've always preferred softer rubbers on my bh side so that makes sense (or became a self fulfilling prophecy).
