Victas V>11 and Mizuno Q Quality are two of the best BH rubbers I've tried.

I use Donic and Nittaku adhesive covers. Never had a problem with Nittaku ones, I've been using them for years. Even when they get all dusty and don't stick anymore, just wash them with soap water & let them dry and they will be as good as new.

I've faced an opponent that punches with long pimples, exactly as you describe. If you block, the ball goes down and the shot is too fast to counterattack with spin. The only method that worked for me, is return the ball with a very open racket
