Yes, part of the price difference is the VAT (that you don't pay since you order outside the European Union). 284$ is crazy cheap though for 2 blades. BUT don't you pay custom charges when the package arrives at US customs?

That's very odd. They must offer 30% only to USA customers. As you can see for Europe max discount is 25%. If it's not too much trouble, please take a screenshot of the cart with 30% discount.
