  1. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

Just received my backup AJH TMXi and a brand new AJH TMXi Pro. I am posting close-ups to make a comparison of the plies. On the bottom it's the normal AJH TMXi, on top is the AJH TMXi Pro I don't have a calliper to measure the overall thickness if it's the same but the impression I get from the...
  2. The Surest Way to Get Rid of Illegal Serve Complaints

I'm pretty sure I've read it somewhere a few years back: The Chinese TT Association had proposed the introduction of two-colored balls in all matches and tournaments. The general idea of this proposition was that less points would be lost by bad reception of tough serves. If less point are lost...
  3. HELP!! BLADE CHOICES

The blade that helped me develop my technique and strokes is OSP Virtuoso OFF- I think there is no better all wood blade for a developing player, who wants to master technique and develop stability of strokes.
  4. How to repair wood dents/cavities in racket head?

A woodmaker I know in Greece would charge about the same 10-15€ but without shipping. Did you find a Polish woodmaker or did you send it abroad?
  5. How to repair wood dents/cavities in racket head?

I have no idea. I guess its lacquer.
  6. How to repair wood dents/cavities in racket head?

Respect if you can do this process! I couldn't do it myself, I would definitely send the blade to a woodmaker!
  7. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

No that's not true at all at least for inner blades. I have a Butterfly Innerforce ZLC and a Xiom AJH TMXi blade. Their handles are totally different. Butterfly's handle is thinner and less roundish than Xiom. Compared to AJH TMXi Pro is even thinner. About outer blades I have no opinion. I had...
  8. European Veterans Championship Novi Sad 2025

Yes registrations were open since August last year.
  9. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

I understand that the top is AJH TMXi Pro and bottom is Hugo TMXi Pro. I'm more interested in comparison of AJH TMXi with AJH TMXi Pro. But next week I'm getting my AJH TMXi Pro and I'll compare it myself with the normal version. I'll post close ups. I'm really curious if there would be...
  10. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

He is comparing Hugo TMXi Pro (not AJH TMXi Pro) with another blade (don't know which one). Is there any close up photo that compares AJH TMXi with AJH TMXi Pro?
  11. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

As soon as i get the Pro version and play it, I'll post my impressions. Can you please give me the link with the pictures of user Xiaoys, where the differences in core and middle plies are depicted?
  12. European Veterans Championship Novi Sad 2025

I'm looking forward to visiting Novi Sad in June, for the European Veterans Championship 2025. Anybody else is attending the event? https://evc2025.com/
  13. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

I was wondering the same thing: If AJH series blades have been discontinued, how come they still appear on both the European and the Korean websites? Retailers however like tt11, confirm that they have been discontinued. And indeed AJH still wears Xiom clothes (despite the fact that he is...
  14. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

I guess they offer 30% only outside the EU. Thanks for the screenshot!
  15. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

Yes, part of the price difference is the VAT (that you don't pay since you order outside the European Union). 284$ is crazy cheap though for 2 blades. BUT don't you pay custom charges when the package arrives at US customs?
  16. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

That's very odd. They must offer 30% only to USA customers. As you can see for Europe max discount is 25%. If it's not too much trouble, please take a screenshot of the cart with 30% discount.
  17. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

It measures the natural vibrational frequency (in Hz or MHz) of the blade when it is tapped or struck—usually measured with specialized equipment or even smartphone apps using the blade's sound. The higher the frequency, the stiffer the blade, the lower the dwell time and the faster the rebound.
  18. Butterfly to relaunch custom-made blade service.

Take a look at this video. However, I wouldn't put my blade in boiling water under any circumstance.
  19. How to repair wood dents/cavities in racket head?

This is by far the best way I've seen for repairing edge hits, but it requires skills that quite frankly very few have.
  20. Butterfly to relaunch custom-made blade service.

I have done it yes, but not myself but a carpenter i know. It was very easy, I saw the process: He removed the old handle with a chisel and used D3 wood glue to glue the new one. It was really easy, i could have done it myself
