I wouldn't suggest sealing your blade as it alters its characteristics, making it more stiff. Moreover, If you put too much lacquer, rubbers will not adhere very well and you'll have problems. It's not really worth it, given the fact that Stratus Powerwood is a fairly cheap blade.
