  1. Is YSE + Rakza 7 too fast for beginner?

Mark V is a bad idea. It is too soft and lacks the spin required for the proper stroke and confidence in harder hitting. It will give her bad habits. It would be fine to get her modern beginner rubbers that are at least medium hard and decently spinny even if they are a bit slower. Teach her to...
  2. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

Is Loki Arthur China considered a hybrid?
  3. How often do you have to replace your cutting knife?

Just get an Olfa 18mm snap off blade cutter and the pack of ultra sharp NT Cutter black blades. They last at least 6 rackets or more each blade as you snap the tip off when they get dull.
  4. Stiga Mantra H/Pro H

Stiga Mantra Pro H - made in Japan by the same company that makes the Nittaku Hammond Z2, and is even better than it IMO and is available from aliexpress for $35 shipped. Pretty hard to find a better deal. It is my backhand rubber of choice. It feels transparent, i.e it does what I tell it to, I...
  5. PSA: Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon and Andro Syntheliac VCO OFF seem like close siblings but are not

The same pair I have been using it with since the beginning, Loki Arthur China for FH and Stiga Mantra Pro H for BH. No reason to change as the setup is supporting my game improvement with great satisfaction and without any distraction and I'm getting what I think are pro style shots with it.
  6. PSA: Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon and Andro Syntheliac VCO OFF seem like close siblings but are not

I just replaced the original rubbers I had on the Hybrid Carbon. It has been my main blade all this time and probably the longest of any of the 40+ blades I have had. I would say I quite like it. :>
  7. Help me choose a blade+rubber set

If you want power and spin, that usually means a carbon blade and 60 bucks is going to be a little tight. The closest you can get is the Yinhe Pro 01 combo with Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia FH and Moon backhand for $72. That setup will be pretty killer. Personally, I would probably be very happy with...
  8. Hina Hayata H2 comparisons

It's not as hard as it might be expected due to the larger sized head and the hybrid material probably. It really is unlike regular ALC blades in a good way IMO.
  9. Hina Hayata H2 comparisons

Another option for you to look at is the Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon. I own various versions of HL5 and the Stuor clone and have tried the Harimoto ALC and for me the Stiga Inspira is the best as it combines the best features of the HL5 and and outer ALC blade. It feels stable, controllable...
  10. Amazing match to watch

Is this the tournament where China sent their third stringers so the Russian athletes would someone to compete against because Russians were shunned in international competition?
  11. Back of the Head throb after training

Do you hydrate yourself properly with electrolytes during training like how the pros do it during matches.
  12. SANWEI NOVA Carbon is coming!

Who is Abdulgafar Qafar (Am I spelling it right?)? It's thinner than a Primorac Carbon though so hopefully it will be more flexible. I'm looking for a fast Hinoki outer carbon blade, something like my Garadia ZLC but with more flex/less thickness, so this is quite interesting to me. It seems...
  13. Why do Zhang Jikes Movements Look so clean?

The original video is the right camera angle to see how the pros amazing technique works.
  14. Better blade

I mostly agree with the previous post I liked that at at that level of blades there is no "best", it's what suits the OP style the best. I own different versions of Long 5 and have tried the Viscaria SALC and they are both good in their own ways but the one that I'm playing right now, the Stiga...
  15. Dignics 09c is amazing

My experience with H3 37 tells me almost anything is going to be better. Maybe I got a dud, I don't know but it was very slow and strange feeling and regular hardness H3 was much much better.
  16. Dignics 09c is amazing

Good for you. Did you try the Loki rubbers like the Loki Arthur China or RXTON 9 and compared it yet?
  17. Better blade

Well technically, in general, QA, durability and quality matters. For the OP specific question, those are probably top tier blades and should have no quality issues.
  18. Issue cutting the rubber

What kind of glue are you using for it to take so long and are you putting on too thick a layer? Granted I live in a dry area but it only takes 30 minutes for a layer of glue to completely dry. You understand that you put a thin layer of glue on each surface the blade and sponge and leave it to...
  19. Issue cutting the rubber

try using an extra sharp 18mm snap blade and decent cutter and one of those rotating table tennis rubber cutting platforms or a sheet of paper on small rubber cutting board so that you can rotate the racket and always cut at a comfortable position.
  20. First custom made paddle

Blade is fine but I would not use Rakza 7 soft if you want to be able to take the offensive on your backhand. It's too soft and slow. Go with the thickest sponge available for the rubber of your choice if you want spin and offense. Also consider a Chinese or hybrid rubber for you forehand. My...
