ah well its all about preference, but i had the same feeling in the beginning. now its quite less stiff and grabs the ball really well on soft touches; almost a vicaria clone tbh. in the end though i concluded: long 5>fzd alc 😪

hey, did you try playing with it for a month at least? mine was really stiff too in the beginning but the wood did open up after a month of use and now it feels like it has the softest core amongst all alcs with great dwell. I like it now, spin potential and control are really good.

no mate will change to g1 on backhand. X was very linear and had decent speed and spin but really sensitive to incoming spin. not saying it was bad, just didn't really suit my blade. as for the xx i had a really bad experience; got it for my previous blade and it ended up having a rubber bubble...

so guys i also have the option of xiom omega 7 tour and i heard its really fast, spinny and hard. anyone here using it can give me some leads and if its durable or not?

yee i got the fzd alc haven't tried it out yet and yes it definitely has a thicker grip, fits nicely in my hand. It looks like a work of art can't wait to try it out😛

well everyone recommended the fzd since it has a slightly thicker core and an even thicker grip than the viscaria

alright, I shall test them out. Have played with many of my friend's alc's, just need to test out what long 3 would feel like. Still, I'd like to know what people think who have played with both these blades.

I don't feel like rubber and the sponge have detached at all but apart from that the rubber isn't 100% even in the middle. As for the pimples yeah they're visible. And to answer your question i do hit really hard forehand topspins and slaps. Maybe it will go away after a week or so?
