  1. Darker Blades in Tokio and Osaka

Hi, I‘m going to visit Japan this year and I want to buy one or two Darker Hinoki blades as I really like my 7P-2A. Can anyone Name a few shops which sell Darker blades? Thank you!
  2. Rubber advice for a teammate

Yes, me too. I told him to flip the blade, maybe he feels more comfortable with the other side on the backhand.
  3. Rubber advice for a teammate

So you would consider a harder rubber on the backhand?
  4. Rubber advice for a teammate

Hello everyone, I am looking for two new rubbers for my teammate and doubles partner for the new season. His setup is currently as follows: Wood - Donic Carboev VH: Andro Impuls Speed 1.8 mm RH: Andro Impuls Speed 2.1 mm I would describe his playing style as offensive, whereby his forehand is...
  5. Advice for Teammate

Haha thank you, I was tired from work and you are right. The scale was not set to zero. Its 79g, thank you!
  6. Advice for Teammate

Yeah that would be the best way to do it but rubbers are worn out and we need to buy new rubbers anyway. He has a very good feeling and years of experience (50+) but newer tested anything on his own and the next shop is not that well equipped and just interested of selling high priced stuff. In...
  7. Advice for Teammate

Hi, I'm currently looking for a new Blade/Rubber combination for my teammate. At the moment he is playin a TSP Balsa Fitter 6.5 with the darker outer plies (walnut?), FH a Tibhar Quantum X Pro in 2.0 and BH a Tibhar Evolution MX-P 50° Version in 1.9 mm. He has a German TTR rating of about 1780...
  8. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

So yesterday I played two games against my teammates and I think I can close this thread. I played with the Darker (7P2A) and two Tenergy 05FX. The feeling, the ability to play a ball with a lot of spin from behind the table and over the table, the safety in my shots - I stick with this...
  9. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Yeah, you're right. But I already practice nearly 2 times a week and after 20 years in table tennis it is hard to change the technique. Maybe I need a longer pre season excercise to get comfy with harder rubbers, especially on FH but now I only have about 3 weeks until the first tournament starts.
  10. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Yes! I also feel more comfortable when I play with softer rubber. Maybe I have to accept the negative aspects of Tenergy 05FX and need to train more short game situations to challenge the spin sensitivity.
  11. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

So yesterday I was able to excercise about two hours. On one side I glued the SuperThick G1 and on the other side an old Tenergy 05FX. As as far as I can say, the 05FX works better on FH than the G1. Instead the G1 is super solid on BH with some weird shots in passive situations. If I just hold...
  12. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

I got one from a friend, super thick, like new!
  13. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Ok, what about a rubber with 45 degree hardness and a more flexible top sheet?
  14. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

I think the Hybrid MK is way to hard for my style. Vego Europe sounds promising.
  15. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Thanks for the recommendations! I will have a look in those rubbers.
  16. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Hello everyone, I need your advice: I have been playing a Nittaku Acoustic with Rozena in 2.1 mm on the forehand and 1.9 mm on the backhand for about 2-3 months. I like the blade and in combination with the Rozenas the control. However, I am increasingly realising that I need a softer forehand...
  17. blade is too head-heavy for me - any tipps?

I bet there are several blades with clipper composition on the market. Maybe one of them is more balanced? I remember Nittaku Ludeack was not as head heavy as the Bty SK7.
  18. What forehand rubber should i use?

If you're thinking about changing from Rozena to Tenergy or Fastarc remember that you might loose control in short game and in passive shots. I downgraded from Viscaria to Acoustic and from Tenergy to Rozena and my short game improved, my passive shots improved and I have more control against...
  19. Fastarc G-1 be a better fit for Ovtcharov ALC blade?

Would be interesring to know what kind of blade you played before you bought the Ovtcharov ALC. And which rubbers of course
  20. What are some TT Problems you are having?

Yeah. I like to give new impulses, try different combinations. But I think I should stick a bit longer to a racket even when I loose 2 or 3 matches. Because when I loose I often think "maybe its the wrong rubber?" and start changing different things :D But the next season I will try to stick to...
