  1. China National Games 2021

Zhao Zihao is not in a great form lately, many mistakes... Also, looks like they're playing with DoubleFish balls?
  2. China National Games 2021

Also, in a match between Fang Bo 方博 and Geng Shupeng 耿舒鹏 the latter guy uses Butterfly rubbers on both sides, no H3 on the forehand. At least it looks so.
  3. After boosting has gone from DHS H3 NEO what have you got ?

just my 2 cents on the topic of how factory booster evaporates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOeeyU-gIus I just boosted H3 with the way SFF_lib mentions (2 layers of DHS #15, 3 layers of Falco). I am going to apply it today and make a second video of my impressions. Remember, it's very...
  4. Andro blade Treiber Q

I had Andro Treiber Q and it's definitely faster than Viscaria/Hurricane Long 5, which are used by the top professional players. It has koto outer ply and a carbon layer right after. Not ALC, plain fast bouncy carbon. To develop your strokes you definitely should switch to something slower...
  5. You're given $120 to spend on aliexpress, what do you buy?

I would definitely try out National DHS H3 NEO (both orange & blue sponges) and I think that would be covered by $120. :) Or provincial H3 NEO BS + booster + as many DHS 3* Busan balls as would fit into the budget.
  6. H3Neo or sanwei target national

Sanwei Target National(STN) vs H3NEO (provincial, orange sponge, no booster): - speed: STN > H3NEO. The pores in the sponge are bigger, it's more bouncy. - spin: STN << H3NEO - tackyness: STN << H3NEO - quality: STN < H3NEO (the sponge of STN is very brittle, be careful) Overall, I would buy...
  7. Plastic balls explained

That's a great post you've linked, but there's now DJ40+ as well...do you know how are those different ? World Cup and ITTF Finals will be played with these balls.
  8. Nittaku Fastarc G-1 on FH, Tibhar FX-P on bh on Stiga Nostalgic blade

Generally, yes. But there is a lot to consider, main things to be skill level and play style. Looks like Nostalgic series have both Allround and Offensive versions, both being 5 ply wooden blades. I wouldn't go too soft on the forehand, so 44-47 degrees hardness should be fine(medium-hard)...
  9. Dignics o9c short review/alternatives?

It's $33, but you have to buy booster as well, glue it every once in a while (once a month?) -> spend glue. They also say time is money, it requires some time :) But jokes aside, how often do you boost and how many times (in general) until a sheet of rubber is not boostable anymore and you use...
  10. What game are you playing now?

I am a big StarCraft:BW and StarCraft II fan. Though I do not play a lot myself (my best result was Diamond league in SC2 as a Terran), but I really enjoy watching Korean pros playing in ASL and GSL with Tastosis commentary. Best casting duo and best RTS of all times :)
  11. Underwear for Champions.

    But...why? Lost a bet ? :)
  12. The most popular blade

Man that's some serious stuff with HL5 fakes. So these days it's better to get Butterfly or Stiga market blade to be 'self-satisfied' with the fact, that I can play with the same gear as top tier players? I wanted to get either Long 3 or Long 5, because Viscaria is just too fast for me. Looks...
  13. The most popular blade

what about w968 and other DHS blades? As well as Stiga Dynasty? There were some players using those blades on Chinese mock olympics. Not as many as Viscarias though. Does anyone still use all wood DHS w506 ? Or probably easier to get Clipper CR these days I guess..
  14. Liang Jingkun's Rubbers (Chinese Warm-up Olympics)

It is available on AliExpress. The shop owner sent me provincial version instead of commercial by mistake, though. But I already play with Provincial on the backhand and it's not bad :) He also sent me pics proving the existence of 37 degrees commercial version, so yeah, it's available.
  15. Pongfinitys equipment

btw last video on their channel shows, that Miikka actually now plays with H3 blue sponge
  16. w968 with a n301

https://www.instagram.com/p/CAVmgWon80e/?igshid=1e0g0tbal7a9n check out this post. I guess there's not much of info right now anywhere in Western media yet. It says that in 2020 there will be Hurricane 'Ji' produced by DHS. One side limba, other side koto. And a couple more new blades from DHS.
  17. mihalichtheone

Hello! I asked Miikka in Instagram what rubbers does he use, but he didn't reply. Can you please...

Hello! I asked Miikka in Instagram what rubbers does he use, but he didn't reply. Can you please ask him ? :) I really want to know what's that rubber on the black side he uses. The red one is obviously tenergy, but the black...I can't figure out. Likely Yasaka Rising Dragon?
  18. DHS Hurricane 3 NEO replacement

Also, how about Hurricane 8 ? I play H3 on the FH myself and feel very comfortable (at first I boosted it, but never re-boosted) and thinking about getting Hurricane 8 mid-hard as a next FH rubber.
  19. Backhand Rubber for Flicks - Fastarc G1 vs other rubbers

I would say the exact opposite, but I guess it's a matter of preference :)
  20. Backhand Rubber for Flicks - Fastarc G1 vs other rubbers

I have used the G1 on both sides and that's indeed not an easy rubber to do the flick. Switched to Rasanter R42 2.0 (thickness really matters) and on my 5 ply wooden blade it's just amazing control and not that bouncy.
