  1. Hurricane 9 official news

So they cut corners on the commercial ones, cut only 2 with provincials and don't cut any with National versions? huh :)
  2. Receieved Fang Bo Carbon, but no photo of FB

I haven't tried Sanwei 75. I found V14 Pro to be fast and less controllable, but it was also 95g...I personally like my Pro 01 (which is 90g) more. It's a bit flexier and touch plays are better.
  3. Receieved Fang Bo Carbon, but no photo of FB

It's actually awesome, but different feeling from limba structured blade. So far my best tournament results are actually achieved with Pro 01. Here's a quick video of my best plays. You can actually find some videos on the same channel where I play HL5, but I am much better at understanding the...
  4. Receieved Fang Bo Carbon, but no photo of FB

I've ordered Fang Bo ALC from AliExpress as well, will post the picture when it arrives. I personally don't mind not having Fang Bo in the lens on the handle, black lense looks solid.
  5. Frustrated & Confused

I do not think the author of the post implied that he himself has better technique, but it's true that on the highest level you have to be optimal with your shots, meaning nearly perfect preparation for the shot with your footwork, explosion of the core, wrist movement and relaxation. It's also...
  6. What hell ??

It's just a reflection, come on
  7. Sanwei "75" blade - has anyone tried it?

Here's a review from Table Tennis Gan. This guy plays really well and with the blades that I've tested myself, I agree with his opinions.
  8. Bfly too expensive, rubber advice please

I completely agree with the fact that G-1 is a bit hard for BH. In general, my personal observation is that G-1 is very good on flexible blades, but not those outer ALC TBALC/Viscaria type of blades. Durability wise G-1 indeed is outstanding, in my experience it can easily last for 6 months. It...
  9. Better to get Butterfly?

Nittaku FastArc G-1 can last much, much longer and it's ESN. Depends on your skill level though. Any rubber will wear out in 2 weeks if you're professional and train 2 times a day.
  10. A word of appreciation to Yinhe Pro 01

Forehand is Hurricane 3 Provincial orange sponge 40 degrees hardness with 2 layers of Haifu Seamoon. Backhand is Hurricane 8-80 37 deg unboosted. Both rubbers suit the blade really well, backhand needs active play though…or punching blocks.
  11. A word of appreciation to Yinhe Pro 01

Boy this blade is well balanced. For the record: I also have older version of Timo Boll Spirit and it's too fast for my liking, there's less dwell time/catapult effect/call it whatever - my subjective feeling is that I can do full swing forehand top spin with Yinhe Pro 01 wihtout hesitation...
  12. Looking for high arc rubber

Hey, G-1 is FastArc, not HighArc! Jokes aside, I think G-1 has a good throw angle, but lower than Tenergy 05.
  13. Nittaku acoustic blade - any good?

With tabletennis11 you can always ask what blades (in terms of weight) they have in stock via email. This shop is amazing :)
  14. EJs who have found the perfect setup?

Through my experience I've found that there are definitely 'good' combinations and 'bad' ones. For example, I've played for 6 months with Hurricane Long 5 with H3 on FH and FastArc G-1 on the BH. Recently I've switched to H3 37 Provincial on the backhand and couldn't be happier, now all my blocks...
  15. New Equipment 2021

Balls (table tennis balls that is :D) is something that bugs me a lot. I remember those yellow'ish DHS 3 star balls where 8 out of 10 were consistently round and very durable. Now it's regular white'ish 3 star balls where 4 out of 10 are rather round, 3 out of remaining 6 are ok and other 3 are...
  16. Why do you like Table Tennis???

There is something in that rhythmical ball sound that's just so addicting...sometimes I catch myself enjoying drills more than actual games, just because I can place the ball 30 times without an error (rare case though :D). Also, self-awareness and self-consciousness. Table tennis is such a...
  17. Which equipment for young Talents?

As thomas.pong pointed out, not that it really matters. Kids at that age are very flexible and can adjust to any kind of equipment really fast. IMO one shouldn't start with a rocket-fast equipment, but rather begin with 5ply-7ply all wood like Korbel/PG-7/etc. and then proceed to composite...
  18. China National Games 2021

When your coach receives yellow card instead of you 😀
  19. Which equipment for young Talents?

There are some 12 year old young talents at our club who play and win against other kids of the same age on the top 10 country level (Russia that is). They all use Viscarias and Tenergy 05 or Tenergy 05fx and it works fine. They train 3 hours in the morning each workday and 2 times a day when...
