  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Same struggle for me: This is how I dealt with it: 1. Actually warm up and get your body going at least 20-30 Minutes before your first match. Not Just drives on the table. Get your Heart rate to the level where it will be at in the match - for me it's around 150-175 bpm if it's really...

  3. WTT Champions Macao 2024, 9/9-15

An opportunity for Dang Qiu to reach the finals. Against either Lin or Wang, he has good / decent chances. If he can play with the confidence and quality that he had in the last 2 sets against Liang, I can see him posing a real threat. On the other hand, LSD has shown a great level this...
  4. WTT Champions Macao 2024, 9/9-15

Dang Qiu showing Liang Jingkun how comebacks are done.
  5. How to read sidetop vs sideunderspin serve!?

If you learn to do the Serve yourself, you'll be able to understand and read it more easily. Also more experience playing against it will help. Once I learned to do a good hook serve and a semi-good reverse pendulum, I could handle them much better when my opponent did them.

  9. Post your latest EJ purchase

I found non-tacky rubbers to go better on the Yinhe Pro 05, but maybe it is personal preference. 45-50 ESN hardness rubbers worked well. Try it out and let us know. How is vibration / feedback with the Bo2 and the Pro 05? How much do they weigh?
  10. Sanwei Fextra 5 Classic First Playing Report

Yinhe Pro 05 barely any vibration. Only on low impact shots a little bit. Fextra 5 some vibration, but not much. You get some feedback. In terms of penetration and firepower my Pro 05 is unmatched, more power than anything else I tried.
  11. WTT Contender Almaty 2024 Sep 3-8

Would be happy for Gerassimenko if he could win in front of his home crowd. Underrated player that's exciting to watch. You can never count him out.
  12. Equipment weaknesses and how to exploit them

True. Equipment check can sometimes help win 1 or 2 free points per set or catch them off guard.
  13. Equipment weaknesses and how to exploit them

There are some rubbers or blades that are strong in some aspects and weaker in others. Every match I play I try to have a look at the equipment of my opponent. From that I either draw some conclusions or just satisfy my curiosity. And sometimes I try to use certain strategies or tactics...
  14. Flip technique difference: Medium/Soft Tensor vs. Hard Tacky rubber

I found the biggest game changer for my receive game to be the pre-step that Fang Bo taught in one of his videos. It took me a while to implement it but now I do it at least 80% of the time. If the footwork is right, the rest becomes much easier and comfortable. Standing back with your right...
  15. Flip technique difference: Medium/Soft Tensor vs. Hard Tacky rubber

I've been trying my other racket the other day and I tried to flip almost every Serve in doubles. I was switching between the 45° grippy rubber and my Hard Chinese rubber on some serve returns. And I found that I was much better at it with the tensor rubber, as that is what I learned the...
  16. Yinhe Blades

Agreed, the Yinhe Pro 05 is an amazing blade in terms of everything. Whenever I hold it in my hand my confidence goes up by +100.
  17. I find that doing sparring matches is a really good way to improve and get sharp

In my first couple years of table tennis, All I did was playing matches and iteratively learning each time. My playstyle was just pushing and blocking near the table with minimal footwork. Nothing "offensive" - no loops or anything. And I would beat almost all other kids at our club and in the...
  18. Big Dipper, Loki Arthur China experience.

Had no major issues so far after 6 sheets. 2 of which were for someone else. Unless I hit my racket into the table or on it's edges, it was fine. Never measured hardness or anything.
